CHAPTER 2: JENNIE KIM

Jennie Kim. A talented architect, genius and beautiful. She is perfect 10. A daughter of a poor women, Kim Ji-Won. She has 5 siblings. All of her siblings were already have their own career. But only one who are still studying abroad which is her younger sister. She was not really closed to her siblings and her mom also. They lived in Gamcheon village, Busan where the place that full of nature and far far away from the city.

Jennie was so busy with her architect things in Seoul so she could not pay a visit her mom. Mrs. Kim misses her everyday but Jennie never thought about that. So, Jennie Kim is working at Yoo Building for 5 years. She is the top 1 architect in the company, the boss loves and proud to have her because she always did her job really excellent and the other company that have project with the Yoo building & Architecture will chose Jennie because of her talent.

Jennie has a boy bestfriend, Kwon Jiyong. They have been friend since day 1 of working. They always together either in the office or outside of working hours. They love each other's company. Without Jennie's concern, he had feeling for her but he refused to confess because afraid of rejection. Her past relationship made her trauma and don't want to get into a relationship again and he knows that. That was an obstacle to him to have her.

She lives in Hongdae the city in Seoul, South Korea. She pay a rent for apartment but enough for her and the only one housemate, Park Chaeyoung. Not only housemate but, Chaeyoung is her bestfriend when they studied in New Zealand years ago. She also working at the same company as Jennie. Chaeyoung always with Jennie and she knows every secrets, especially her past.

"lunch?" Jiyong ask the woman who is busy like there is no tomorrow.

"5 minutes please". Said the pretty woman. Jennie is being Jennie.

"Hahaha okay then. Chill Jen, your salary still higher than mine though you have not done it now" She gives glare at him like she was going to kill him

"Wo wo wo take a chill pill miss Kim"

At the Steak house

"Did Mr. Yoo inform you anything?"

"Nope. What is that?" Jennie asked back while chewing the steak.

"I think it's better if he tell you himself."

She just nodded and continue eating.

"Oh, by the way, let's have dinner at my house tomorrow. My mom cooked for us. Bring Chaeyoung along." Her face brightened after hearing that and nod.

Jiyong smiled while staring at her beautiful face. He fell so hard for her. Jennie never knew that he had feelings for her since the day they met. She never wanted to be in a relationship after her past traumatized her and Jiyong alert with her past that it why he was afraid to confess. The past have taught Jennie the meaning of differences in social status. As a result, Jennie became a woman who is overly cautious and prioritizes rationality over emotions.

Jennie got a call from her boss.

"Hey Jen, we have meeting at 3 please be punctual."

"About what boss, is it about the Jeju project?"

"Yes. Make sure don't be late but don't be rush. Safety first" Indeed a good Boss.

"Dig in. I have to attend the meeting later."

At the YOO Building & Architecture

"There you are Jen. We have been waiting for you" Mr Yoo walk to her.

"I am sorry Boss, I am stuck at traffic jammed."

"It's okay. I told you not to rush. Our meeting postponed to next week. Mr. Lim could not make it today. Just prepared the templates" He smile and walk away to his room.

She just kept a calm face and had to go along with it.
