#Mikasa's POV# I was staring at my phone in anger while Rufus drove. I read the comments about me on social medias,
'that Mikasa girl isn't cultured. I guess her parents didn't train her'
'how disrespectful? I mean Fionna has been in the industry while this Mikasa bitch was still learning to spell her name. Fionna is technically over twice her age, obviously older than Mikasa's Mother who forgot to train her'

I read through the comments angrily, but I could do nothing as I already got myself and my family into more than enough trouble and humiliation. I stopped reading the comments and went on my profile. My eyes almost popped at what I saw.....

"Are you okay?"I heard Rufus's sly voice interrupt me, it was like an ice cold water bring poured into my anger to cool it down.

I sighed before putting my phone in my purse without bothering to turn it off, "i-..... It's just. Fionna!! Everyone is against me now because she won the fucking global Voice and I fucking didn't congratulate her"
"You know, it-"he tried to speak but I cut him off.
"I mean because everyone congratulated her, does that mean I should. Plus, sincerely I wanted to congratulate her but I couldn't; now no one wants to listen to my goddamn side of the story!!"
He sighed,"I will"
"Pfft- one can't make a difference!!"
"One can.....that one might be the one to change the whole story and share the word. Every one makes a difference. "Fine..... Well, the global Voice was by 4pm that day. That same day by 7am, I went to the doctor; Gideon, you should know him, he's a celebrity doctor, plus you drove me there. He gave me some meds to use by 9am. So...umm...I kinda forgot to take the meds, when I remembered, it was 6:30pm. So I quickly took the meds before going for the global Voice; I had to go as I was a nominee. Then, while the event was going on and they announced Fionna as the winner of the award, every other nominees went to congratulate her on the stage leaving me alone on the seat. Sincerely, I tried all I could to stand but I was dizzy and drowsy so I just had to sit there. I had forgotten the doctor asked me to sleep whenever I took the meds else its side effects are powerful than sleep itself; deep slumber. Somehow, a camera caught me sitting there; I was actually sleeping but I wore shades so it looked like I just sat. And somehow, my bodyguards brought me home"
"But I thought no cameras were allowed in the venue; they would only announce the winner on social medias without sharing videos of the event"Ruffy said as he raised a brow.
"Exactly Rufus!! I'm also perplexed. Someone posted the video anonymously"I said.
"Fionna has something to do with it"
"Duhh- the world doesn't care anymore. I'm at the brim of my career, I hope I don't fall off"
"You won't. You just have to have a conversation with Fionna while recording the conversation and get her to say she's behind this all"

"Great. I'm glad you're not giving up Mikasa"he smiled. That was the first time he dared to call me Mikasa, but I smiled back regardless, I'm not so full of ego.
He soon pulled up indicating we're at our destination. I looked at him and he nodded.
I got out of the car and fetched out my phone from my pocket to text Carolina that I have arrived at the destination she asked me to meet her. She replied back with 'okay'. Two men came out of the building I was standing before and lead me into the building. I scanned everything in the living room with my eyes searching for something I couldn't possibly afford but I didn't find any. I looked more, but it was all futile.
I then noticed Carolina's presence in the room. She stood by the supposed fire place staring at the aquarium that was placed there in place of firewoods, she had a glass of sparkling wine in her hand twirling it in fancy before she turned to look at me. She gestured the two men that lead me in to leave. She look a small sip from the glass before speaking.
"Wine?"she asked raising both her glass and brows.
I shook my head in decline, "no. I'm fine"I said. She smiled again and took another sip from her glass then another and another.
I was fed up of watching her just sip and sip, "look, Carolina, I don't have much time to waste here. I have things to do, I'm very occupied, yet I'm here honouring your summon, and you're there sipping all over and over again like there's no tomorrow to do that. I honoured your summon, now honour my presence and stop sipping nonchalantly like I am not here"
She sipped the wine again, sighed and walked over to the couch to sit, "look, I summoned you 5 days ago to come here today and I appreciate your effort that you honoured it and came here even though you know you have things to do but, I was only drinking because I didn't know how to put this. Well, I actually had forgotten I summoned you, I actually wanted to feature you in one of my new songs my fans are anticipating"
"Woah!! That's amazing!!! Sorry about how I reacted minutes ago. Wait, with you right?"
"Yeah, that song titled with you"
"I am also anticipating it!!!"
"That's great! But I don't know how to place this, I don't want to feature you anymore because the internet hates you now for what you pulled off last 4 days with Fionna. The world is against you!!"

"You're welcome. Shut the door on your way out please"she said before leaving the room. It's not like I couldn't threaten her, or I couldn't slit her throat, I can but I just wanna do this the easy way. I left the building and made sure I didn't shut the door- no one dictates for Mikasa what to do.
I know Fionna's gonna pay for all these mess after I make her life one.
