Yoongi: Thirteen years old

Jimin: Eleven and a half years old

"You are here. Oh! Jimin-ah, what happened ?"

Yoongi peeped into his sulky best friend's face, who was sitting all mad under the shady Neem tree behind their school's drama club. The younger one was angrily picking all the grasses in his reach, and Yoongi could say in no time he would be there consoling a crying Jimin. Jimin's nose tip was already turning pink.

"They are asking me to be a princess now!"

And like that, he cried. It was not just crying it was an eardrum-piercing high-pitched screech with childish cursings here and there. The young child was crying like they had someone dear dead.

The older boy, who wasn't a part of the drama club, felt a little puzzled because he got zero clues about what Jimin was telling. The school day and summer festival were coming together this time, and the school authority announced it is compulsory to join at least one esthetics club. Jimin has chosen the drama club as he had this weird addiction of imagining himself as a famous actor who signed autographs as a kid, and Yoongi has joined the music club as his interests lie there.

Yoongi sat beside Jimin and gave a very concerned look on Jimin. He knows many things about Jimin's drama club as the younger won't stop bragging. For the past three days, that is what all Yoongi heard. His little best friend was all giddy about the annual day's drama that he had been chosen to act as the prince.

"Jiminie... you mean the prince, right? You told me you got picked at the audition to act as the prince."

Yoongi asked as softly as he could, not wanting Jimin to jump on him for misinterpreting in case.

"Argh! Norrrrrr. The teacher now wants me to do the princess's part! Argh.....She is a liar, and I won't go!"

Yoongi scratches his neck and slightly covers his ears because Jimin is too loud for his liking.

Things happen like this. They have been attending an all-boys school as middle schoolers. So, as it makes sense, there were no boys to play the female characters. The kid who was supposed to play the princess's role was down with measles one week before the event, and the club in charge has changed roles.

Being the shortest, Jimin has asked to take the role by their drama teacher as he was the shortest kid in the sixth graders' drama. Jimin, who dreamt a lot of playing the prince's role, had literally cried, saying no, but somehow, their homeroom teacher and Yoongi's grandma had managed to console him.

"Where's Jimin?"

Yoongi peeps into the dressing room where drama kids get ready.

"He...well, he won't come out from the restroom. Can you ask him to come out?" One kid says knowing Yoongi is Jimin's best friend.

Yoongi, who was already dressed up in his act's costumes, walked into the drama club's dressing room.

"Jimin-ah...hey, I know you are there! Come out, please. "

"I don't want to be a princess! I hate this pink frock! Yuck, these frills"

Yoongi heard an angry yell from the other side.

"Okay, all students of sixth grade's drama, please walk out. Let's fix your makeup and final rehearsal. "

The teacher in charge says . All the witches, kings, guards, and thieves start to rush out while the princess is still locked himself in the bathroom.
