Hey guys!!! Pic is of David this time
We had left the school promptly at 6:00am. I had fallen asleep, and woke up once we pulled in. It is now 8:15am, and I am getting my bags off the bus. We got our room assignments, and I had been paired with a boy named David whom I didn't know. I'm assuming he's from one of my neighboring towns.
I have my key, and I go up to the cabin and open the door. I call out to see if my bunkmate is here yet. I get no answer, so I get a little bit of alone time before I have to meet him. I take this opportunity to explore the cabin, which is pretty big for two people. I have been here for about an hour now, and start to appreciate the time away from my father.
I decide to test out one of the beds, to see if they were comfortable enough to my liking. It sit on it, and to my surprise, it was very soft. I lay down with my book for a little bit and start to read. I had been reading for about 30 minutes now, and all of a sudden the door opens. Great, my silence has come to an- WOAH THIS GUY IS HOT!
His hair is brown, and medium length. He is fairly muscular, definitely not scrawny. His height is about 5'8, just three inches taller than me. He looks like he is probably a popular guy at his school, probably in the grade above me. I will be going into 11th grade, so he will probably be going into 12th.
"H-hi," I say, nervously trying not to let my feelings show.
"Hey, how are you?" He asks. He doesn't seem nervous at all, and his smile beams brightly at me. I almost can't string a sentence together in front of him.
"Good," I say, hoping that he doesn't see through me."Jeez, are you always this nervous?" he asked.
"No, it's just that i'm in a new place, and i've never gone anywhere without one of my parents," I say as I try to make up an excuse.
"You don't have to be nervous, nothing is going to hurt you here," he says, trying to comfort me. "Are you scared something is going to hurt you?" He asks.
"No," I say, lying through my teeth, but he seems to believe me."You got nothing to worry about then," he says.
Your name is David, right?" I ask.
"Yeah, yours is Nate?" He asks in return.
"Yeah, it's short for Nathan, but all my friends call me Nate. That's been the case since a very young age," I say.
"So, if I can call you Nate, does that mean that we are friends?" He asks, almost seeming hopeful."As long as you don't piss me off," I say.
"I'll try not to, but we do have to get to camp orientation soon, so we might wanna head out right about now," he says.
"I agree, we don't wanna be late." With that, we walked out the door and headed to the amphitheater.Hey guys!!! Let me know how you liked this chapter! Did you like the meeting? Do you think they will confess being gay to each other anytime soon? Write your answers down in the comments❤️❤️❤️
