Elijah "then you return to mystic falls to resume your life as the hated one?"
Elijah "as the evil hybrid?"

Klaus "what will this child offer me?"
Klaus "will it guarantee me power?"
Elijah "family is power, nicklaus."

Klaus "somewhere."
I followed Klaus to a party. This man walked in front of him.
?? "Hey, man."
?? "Where'd you run off to?"
He turned to me.
?? "Hi I'm Marcel."
Me "yeah hi, I'm phoenix."

Marcel turned to Klaus again.
Marcel "someone put you in a mood."
Me "is he not always in a mood?"
Marcel smiled.
Marcel "what can I do?"
Klaus "what you can do is, you can tell me what this thing is you have with the witches."
Marcel "you know i owe you everything I got, but I'm afraid I have to draw the line on this one."

Me "it seems like your hiding something."
Marcel "this is my business."
Marcel "I control the witches in my town."
Marcel "let's just leave it at that."

Marcel "damn straight."

Klaus laughs and I smile.
Klaus "that's funny because when I left a hundred years ago, you were just a pathetic, little scrapper, still trembling from the lashes of the whips of those who would keep you down."

The music stops playing and my body tensed up.
