Marcel was explaining how he keeps control of vampires what he has been uo to. Klaus was listening while I walked behind them.
Marcel "people of all stripes and flavours from all over the country come here to party on our streets."
Marcel "some are just looking for fun, some are looking for something a little darker, more dangerous."

Marcel "so we invite them into my home, and we give it to them."
Marcel "then, at the stroke of midnight, everything changes, and it's time to feed."
We are at the top watching the vampires  feed on humans."

Marcel "this is how I keep my guys happy, the occasional all-you-can-eat buffet."
Marcel "my night walkers love it."
Marcel "got them working hard trying to earn one of these daylight rings."
Marcel "they deserve to blow off a little steam."
Marcel "my daywalkers, the trusted few, they just like to party."

Klaus "it's quite an operation."
Me "not my type of scenery."
Klaus "tell me, what about the victims?"
Klaus "seems like a lot of graves to dig."
Marcel "can't kill them all."
Marcel "too many folks go missing, tourism drops, so we heal them with a little vamp blood, erase their memory, send them on their way, no muss, no fuss."

Klaus "i'm impressed."
Marcel "nothing I didn't learn from you back in the day."
?? "Marcel."
Marcel "what's up, Thierry?"
Thierry "six of our guys were killed in a bar outside of the quarter."
Thierry "nightwalkers."
Thierry "no-one saw who."

Me and Klaus walked back to the mansion. He sat down in a chair and I sat next to Edward and Jack when we heard shouting from a woman.

Klaus walked out and we followed.
Klaus "enough with all the shouting."
Klaus "little sister."
Klaus "I should have known."

Klaus "I assume the six dead vampires were your doing."
Edward/Jack "she is so annoying."
Rebekah "they were very rude..."
Rebekah "trying to victimise a poor, innocent girl just trying to find her way to the quarter."
Rebekah "so sorry."
Rebekah "were they friends of yours?"
Rebekah "oh, that's right."
Rebekah "you don't have any friends."
Klaus "I do have friends."

Klaus "I have Marcel."
Me "I wouldn't call that a friend."
Klaus "you remember him, don't you?"
Klaus "yes, of course you do."
Klaus "he fancies himself the king of quarter now, and he has theses rules about killing vampires."

Klaus "it'll be fun to see what punishment he comes up with for you."
Rebekah "I don't care about Marcel or his rules."
Rebekah "Elijah doesn't welsh on deals."
Rebekah "what did you do to him?"
Klaus "perhaps he's on holiday."
Me "perhaps he's not."
Klaus "or taking a long autumn nap upstairs."
Klaus "well, go on."
Klaus "take a look around."
Klaus "you remember this house as well as I."
Rebekah "I remember everything."

Rebekah "I remember how the drunken fool of a governor hid away all of our vampire sins in exchange for gold."
Rebekah "I remember the lavish parties the governor threw, as if to impress you."
Rebekah "I remember finding a moment of affection with the governor's son Emil."

Rebekah "and I remember that even Elijah was happy."
Klaus "well, he wasn't good enough for you."
Me "but that not up to you Klaus."
Me "if so I would nor let my sister sleep with you."
Klaus "warch yourself."
Klaus winks at me.
Rebekah "no-one was ever good enough for me, nik."
