So, we don't have Grammarly anymore, but we are here. There might be some typos and misspellings. I'm sorry beforehand.

Why was I misspelling the love interest's name wrong? You guys didn't want to tell me? Lame.

That girl's name is Giovanna, not Giovanni... my dumb ass

Anyway, Thank you.

Let's get into it

Point of view: Luna Jennings (Still Tuesday)
Location: PG County, Maryland
Season: Fall, September

School is over...

"So, how did you and Amani meet?"

"I was forced to meet Amani. She told me in first grade that I was going to be her best friend or she would be my bully for the rest of my life."

Giovanna laughed while I shook my head, chuckling, remembering the memory. Giovanni and I have talked since the class, even when Amani finished her assignment. We all moved the conversation to my neighborhood park since Esti wanted to play basketball and was bored. Esti and Amani played, flirting as usual while we continued our conversation.

Giovanna was a good listener and funny. We discussed her first day and other exciting topics, such as our favorites and interests. She was amazing in sketching and designing, seeing why she wanted to continue to take classes and build her craft. She was flirting occasionally, but I couldn't take her seriously.

I will never take anyone seriously.

"I don't remember me saying that hoe. Don't spread rumors like that." Amani said, stopping the game since she came closer to us carrying the ball on her side. "That doesn't even sound like me."

At that point, Esti knew that the game was over since Amani loves to talk and participate in conversation. She sat down next to Amani rolling her eyes. "Amani, stop lying. You said the same thing yesterday when I called your ass annoying."

"Listen, I ain't gotta lie about shit. I will admit when I would've said something."

After she said that, I gave up and laughed. Giovanna and Esti did the same since you can see that she was lying, but there was no way we would argue with her. We continued talking about my friendship with Amani until Esti got bored and forced Amani to play basketball again.

"So, You work at the mall, right?" I knew Giovanna was trying her best to create conversation, sensing that she was shy. I appreciated it for real; it made me want to continue to speak to her.

"Yeah, At Bath and Body Works. It sucks, but a good job for now."

She nodded her head and looked away for a moment. I could tell she was thinking, but no words were coming out. I wanted to know wassup cause this silence was comforting but a little too much for me.

"What are you thinking about?" I said, making her snap her head to me since I had caught her in her daydream. She smiled this little grin and looked back to Esti and Amani.

"Nothing really, just thinking. Wondering things about you on a deeper level without scaring you away. Shit, I was already nervous about speaking to you." She said, making me shake my head, smiling like a child. Blushing and shit, I need to get a grip and quick.

"What about me, I mean... what about me in that way?"

"I don't know for real. Are you single? Do you like girls? but honestly, trying to ask if you find me attractive?"

This time, she looked dead in my eyes with this serious face, but it looked more like a cute puppy face, so I couldn't help but smile at her since she looked cute.
