Jungwon left after breakfast since his shift was starting soon. He had to open the bar for the early-bird drunkards.

Annoyingly enough, the air con in his car stopped working right after the forecast talked about the summer heat approaching their area. He rolled all the windows down and closed his eyes annoyed at the thought that Sunoo had his day off that day, and he had to be at work alone. He would also want to, like Sunoo, put the lawn chair out and take in the sunshine all day long.

He hit the road, pop music on the radio helped him forget somehow about the sweat forming on his forehead, and dripping down to his chin.

"Gosh." He shook it off nervously when he heard a loud sound inside his car. "Not now."

The vehicle bumped into an unpaved forest road and stopped completely in its tracks. Jungwon held the steering wheel with both his hands, gripping it with every bit of annoyance he had in himself. He closed his eyes and tried not to bang his head against the wheel.

He unfastened his belt and left the car. That little jeep of his already had its good old years. It first belonged to his cousin, but he gave it to him when he moved to the bigger city.

Jungwon opened the bonnet, at first sight, everything inside was normal, but he did not know his way around the cars. He went back to his seat to search for his phone and dial a mechanic.

"Hi..? Do you need help?" He heard behind himself. He quickly turned around and furrowed his brows. He swore he had seen the man before, but he had no idea where.

He was tall. Taller than him, but not as tall as Heeseung. His jaw was defined, which made his facial features look manly and dependable in a sense. Jungwon thought he looked like an actor from an action movie. The stranger was also very pale. If it wasn't for the daytime, heat, or the bag full of meat and vegetables, he would have sworn that the man was a vampire.

Jungwon nodded unsure, his hands still leaning against the seat. He cleared his throat.

"I just heard a weird sound, and my car stopped, and I don't know much about repairing cars."

As he talked, the man had already made his way towards the hood. He put down his groceries. Then rolled up the cuffs of his white shirt. Jungwon followed him back to the front, and stood beside him, observing how his hands rummaged inside.

"It got overheated, but nothing is damaged. You'll just have to wait for it to cool down."

"Thank god. I can't afford any repairs at the moment," Jungwon mumbled, throwing his head back after hearing the good news. Then, he looked back at the stranger and his hands. He was clearly burnt, but he did not say a word.

Jungwon widened his eyes.

It's overheated, but he touched it just like that?

"Where have I seen you?" Jungwon asked, shifting his eyes from his hands to the man's face.

"I don't know, I just moved into the neighborhood," he shrugged his shoulders and rolled down his cuffs. Then, he bent down to take the groceries. "What's your name?" He asked when the boy's gaze wouldn't leave him for a second.

"Yang Jungwon." He offered him his hand, but the man smiled apologetically while not being able to reach it. "What's yours-"

"Then, I'll see you around." He pursed his lips, smiling slightly, and passed by him.

Jungwon stared at his reached-out hand for a second before turning around. However, the man was already gone.
