You coughed softly as you sat shuddering from the cold winter air in the alley way alone in the dark of the night. "Ugh... why am I even out hear..? I should be in bed.." You coughed slightly, as you looked up to spot the Komodo dragon standing close to them, they took notice of his intimidating presence. You didn't appear to be scared at any point, although you would typically run if anyone else approached them in this manner. You remained silent, your eyes never leaving the Komodo dragon as you felt his cold presence and his strong body. You felt like running, although you couldn't even stand on your feet at this point so he knew you wouldn't make far. "Little mouse..." He spoke coldly as he slowly stepped in your direction. The iconic chest plate gleamed from the old streetlight. "It is dangerous..." He flashed a cold frown as if judging you. You just shivered as you felt his intimidating appearance, never once looking away from him as if you were in a trance. You felt the cold of the night hit your body like waves as if the cold was just emanating from his presence alone. You felt frozen where you stood, like your legs had frozen from the cold itself as you shivered. A breeze hit your face as it whistled through the area, the air feeling colder than it had before. He watched you shiver, watching you silently as you shivered from the winter's cold wind. The thought of running ran through your mind, but you couldn't even stand or take more than one step before falling over. The winter's cold was too much for you, leaving you completely vulnerable to him. "I-" You started to mumble softly sneezing a bit as you shivered. He just watched you, noticing the cold had weakened you. Your sneezing only made the weather worse for yourself. You were shaking violently and had felt like you were beginning to get a fever, which you feared was beginning. You felt trapped in the cold wind with the Komodo dragon watching you, feeling powerless to escape him now with your body so weak. You coughed softly again before you finally collapsed, too weak from the cold to stay standing. You fell to the cold ground, coughing and shaking from the wintery weather and your fever. You felt helpless as your body grew weak, feeling like you were dying of a fever as you fell to the ground with a loud thud. You laid there coldly on the ground in the dark alley as the Komodo dragon slowly approached you. "So vulnerable..." he stated as he loomed over you, his eyes and aura was like a cold chill as he watched over you as his powerful feet stopped over your body. He crouched down slowly and lowered himself to his hip so he was at the same height as you. He leaned in slightly to look at you close as your body shivered, you felt like you were just going to freeze over already. Komodo dragon spoke coldly in his deep raspy voice, "You're too weak to even fight back..." he was right, your body was weak from the cold and the sickness. Your hands shivered as you were completely defenseless towards him. You tried to speak but your words were only small mumbles from your shivering, your breathing was shaky and you were almost freezing over. He grunted looking around before he lifted you into his arms carrying you off with him as he was walking out to the main streets. He stood glaring off in the distance as a limousine came parking with a driver opening the side door for him to take him to his estate. The Hiyota estate. You were too weak to even move or speak as you remained unconscious in his arms. You couldn't help but wonder why he had taken you with him as he carried you away. Your thoughts were cloudy and you couldn't help but drift in and out of sleep. The idea that he might harm you crossed through your mind, but you remained defenseless and tired to even move. You layed in his arms with your body going limp, your breathing still shaky as you felt him walk into the limousine. You could hear the door shut as he laid you on the bench in the interior. Your body was still weak and you were almost too tired to keep your eyes open as your head grew dizzy with his presence. Your mind still cloudy as you drifted in and out of consciousness. "Shhh... sleep little mouse." His cold icy words filled your ears as the soft humming of the vehicle helped you drift to sleep. When you awoke you found yourself in a guest bedroom in the Hiyota estate. The room smelled of Lavender and honey. The sheets were a soft lilac color and soft with cloudlike feathered pillows. The walls had a soft grey that was soothing. As your body regained some energy you slowly lifted your head, the room seemed to comfort you as a feeling of warmth hit you. Your whole body felt as if it had relaxed in the bed. The lavender smell was calming as your eyes wandered the room. You felt so at ease as you realized that no one was around the bed. It just seemed peaceful, unlike the freezing atmosphere in the alley. Your body still felt cold to the touch though from the fever. You were so warm and content on the soft pillowed bed that it was hard to want to get back up again. The sheets were fluffy like a cloud as you felt your body growing warmer. A shiver hit you though when you felt your stomach growl, and the thought of food hit your mind as hunger filled you. You didn't want to get up and leave that warmth, but the hunger hit your stomach hard. After a few minutes a butler entered with a tray that had a bowl of chicken noodle soup with a bread roll and a glass of juice. "Master Komo has requested you eat the whole tray miss-" He calmly spoke as he laid the tray on your lap. As your body felt warm, the scent of the food had triggered your stomach even more, making your mouth water and your stomach growl. You looked down at the tray, noticing a good helping of soup. You looked up at the butler as you realized he had ordered for you to eat the whole tray. "Komo?" You softly questioned. "Yes Master Komo Hiyota. You are in the Hiyota estate of course." The butler nodded before he left the room. You took a deep breath as you finally realized exactly where you were. You were in the Hiyota estate, you knew you were in Komo's home. You felt a bit foolish for not noticing right away, but your mind had been focused on being sick. You looked back down towards the tray of food, your stomach was very hungry. You slowly rose the spoon full of broth a noodle and a chunk of chicken, the scent filled your nose instantly with a savory aroma. The smell was so appetizing that the hunger grew in your stomach, your stomach gurgled as it eagerly waited for the food within the bowl. You lifted the spoon and took a small bite of the noodle as you tasted the savory chicken noodle soup. It was delicious and it made you want more, you didn't realize how hungry you had really been. You kept slowly eating, enjoying the food like you were starving. As you ate the soup you slowly felt your body calming down, the food making you feel better and more energized. Your stomach rumbled contently as you ate more and more, the bowl now almost completely devoured. A gentle knock then echoed before Komo stepped in slowly. His cold grey eyes peered down at you as he entered with the chest plate jingling. "How are you feeling little mouse?" He asked firmly. You took a deep breath as you looked up at Komo, feeling better than before from the delicious soup. Your stomach had stopped rumbling and your body felt full. You felt a bit embarrassed though as he looked down at you, and felt a soft blush grow on your cheeks. You looked down at the almost empty bowl, now feeling a bit shy towards him instead. "I feel better... thank you." He walked over putting his hand to your forehead. "Your fever isn't as bad as before... But you seem cold..." He stared down at you a moment before taking the tray setting it to the bedside table before looking to you again. "Scoot over..." He sternly said gesturing at you with his hand. Your body felt warm from him being so close to you, but a shiver still ran up your spine as he pointed to the side. You slowly scooted to the side as you looked up at him with his cold eyes now close to your face. The way he stood there, close to you, made you feel even more shy. You felt his warm hand to your forehead, taking note at how the fever seemed less severe, but your body still felt cold. He deeply sighed getting into the bed pulling you to him. Despite the armor he had a certain warmth to him. You felt a sudden jolt as you fell close to him, feeling his armor press up against you as he pulled you closer. You were surprised to feel how warm he was as well. You felt surprised he even let you close to him as his eyes remained to be cold and unreadable. His breath was warm and it filled your nose as he spoke, it was comforting to feel him so close to you. "Rest... so you can get better-" He spoke with concern looking down at you gently grabbing at your chin. You could feel how much you really needed to rest with how weak you felt from the fever. You felt him grab at your chin, his hand feeling warm as he caressed your face slightly. You looked up to him and noticed his cold eyes still looking down to you, it reminded you of the alleyway again. You felt so comfortable to be so close to him, feeling the warmth of his hands as he seemed to also be trying to take care of you. You felt his touch to your hair and his soft grin, and for the first time he didn't seem so terrifyingly cold now. You had thought that he was only capable of having a cruel and angry face, but he was showing a somewhat softer side. You closed your eyes, feeling a bit relieved as you fell back asleep within the warmth of his body. The last thing you remember before sleeping was that he was stroking your hair gently, his soothing touch filling your mind and body with comfort. The feeling soothed you to sleep as you slept peacefully in his warm embrace. The last thing you hear was his calming voice as he caressed your head "rest now little mouse..." His lips softly gave a kiss to your forehead as the lavender scent of the room soothed and helped aid your sleep.
