That night, Vox did not deal with the situation but not as you'd like. Valentino stopped hanging around you and stayed at work or with Vox. Velvette told you not to worry too much, he'll only be like that for a little while.
Days turned into weeks. You texted and called him to no avail. 'Maybe he just got really busy!' You try to reassure yourself. He even ignored you in person... no calls, texts, or responses in general for weeks.
You're hurt and confused, everything was going well enough, he wanted you around him all the time now, and he doesn't even say hello to you anymore. This all is Vox's fault, if he hadn't talked to Val that day you'd still be talking with him. Or maybe he got bored and found someone new to toy with. You should accept that he's moved on... Rejection doesn't feel good but neither does sitting around hurt.
