The Time Has Come

Chapter 4

Hawks: Hey Queeny! *flies in from the balcony*

Queeny: Hey Hawks! What're you doing here? We're about to start another chapter.

Hawks: *waves hand dismissivly* Oh, thought I'd drop in!

Queeny: *crosses arms* Uh huh, sure. What is it you really want?

Hawks: *chuckles nervously* Uh, Dabi said you had KFC . . . 

Queeny: Yeah, that checks out. it's In the fridge.

Hawks: Thanks! You're the best! *runs off shouting* Queeny doesn't own anything but her OC!!

Ada glared at them. "I do not want you here. Leave."

Eraser shook his head. "We can't do that and you know it."

Shigaraki sneers. "You can and you will. She clearly doesn't want you here." He was slightly pissed the Pros had interrupted. He was so close to getting her join them. Maybe he could turn this around, use it to make Ada hate the Pros more than she does now. "Besides, after everything you people have put her through, I doubt she ever wants anything to do with you."

Midnight sighs, sending a pitying look to Ada, who hates it. "Ada, they're just trying to trick you. Don't listen to them. They're villains."

"Really? 'Cause from what I've seen of you guys, you're acting like the real villains." Dabi scoffs, his eyes barely leaving Hawks. "Bird Brain, get your ass over here."

The Pros turn to look at him. Mirko raises and eyebrow. "Hawks?"

Hawks has a nervous look on his face before slowly moving towards Dabi.

"Where do you think you're going?! Traitor!" Endeavor roars, he reaches to grab him. Dabi nabs him first though, pulling Hawks to him by his wrists, which was held rather tightly. 

Eraser stopped Endeavors quirk and grabbed him with his capture-scarf. "Not now, you flaming pile of trash." It was clear Endeavor was widely hated even throughout of the Heroes. Eraser had heard of what Endeavor had done to his family and hated the man with a burning passion. It almost rivaled that of Overhaul.

"Eraserhead! Let me go! A traitor must be punished!" Endeavor spat, his eyes landed on Ada, who had taken a step back in fear. Her quirk was going haywire, giving her a headache. She decided to turn off that aspect, something she had learned long ago. "You are siding with the villains, no wonder, with such a villainous quirk!"

Twice flipped Endeavor off and moved next to Ada with Toga. Ada had tears in her eyes, she was only a year older than Toga. Toga rubbed her arm sympathetically, glaring at Endeavor. "And you call us villains. Can't you see she's upset!"

"Yeah! You pieces of shit!" Twice yelled. "You people are monsters!" All of Twice hated discrimination. In fact, the whole league did. It was the reason most of them were there in the first place. If only they had a piece of tech, they could show all of Japan what their so called 'Heroes' were really like. 

Kurogiri, Mr. Compress, Spinner, and Magne all glared at the Heroes. Dabi had Hawks tightly in his grasp and Shigaraki was getting quite fed up with this interaction. 

Ada finally spoke up. "You know, I was going to give you a chance to plead your case, why I should help you. But it seems I don't need to. The Hero Society hasn't changed." She looked at Mic and Eraser with tears in her eyes. "We were friends once, I trusted you. But you let this happen. I know you're good people, you have kids of your own who have gone through this. They need you. But if continue this way, nothing will change. Society will just treat them the way it treated me and the LOV."

Ada turned her back on them. "I chose the League. They actually care." She walked towards Kurogiri, ready to go back with the LOV to their base. Shigaraki was grinning giddily, extremely happy with the way things had turned out.

Eraser and Mic was left without words. What Ada had said was true. They were Pros because they wanted to help people, but they had really just hurt more.

Mirko was considering going with Hawks and they way Dabi gripped him tightly didn't help reassure her that he would be safe. If anything, it looked almost as if Hawks would be punished later. 

Endeavor was fuming. Eraser still had his quirk activated and he was still restrained. Hawks was with the villains and a powerful quirk was getting away. And the others were just letting it happen. He would be reporting this to the Commission later. 

Midnight didn't know what to think. The points that were just made were all valid. She'd have to talk it over with the other Pros later.

And Hawks was terrified. He was a back with the League, the Commissions 'training' still fresh in his mind. The League had found out that he was a spy, that's why he booked it. But now he was with them. He couldn't have left, the LOV knew where his apartment was. They probably wouldn't have come for him after this anyway. No doubt they had already been there multiple times. The only reason he wasn't taken earlier was because he was with the Commission.

With all said and done, Shigaraki ordered Kurogiri to make a portal back to the base. "Oh, but don't worry, dear Heroes. We'll see each other again very soon." He said, grinning like a cat. 

The LOV left, Twice and Toga not having left Ada's side the whole way. 

After a moment, Eraser let his quirk go and let Endeavor lose. 

"You idiots! You let them go! Don't you realize what you've done?! We had the League of Villains and dangerous quirk user in our grasp and you just let them go!"

"Endeavor, shut up! I don't want to hear your voice the rest of the way back!" Mirko shouted, starting to walk back the way they had come. 

"This is all your fault." Midnight said following Mirko.

Eraser turned and followed as well. He looked a Mic. "I'm going to talk to Nezu when we get back. Can you take care of the kids?"

Mic nodded. "Of course."

Endeavor fumed behind them but followed anyway. 

With the sweethearts

"There's more rooms in the back, pick which ever one you want. You can have it." Kurogiri said motioning to the back rooms. 

Ada nodded. "Thank you. Can we go back and get my stuff tomorrow?"

"But of course my dear! What is a performer without her gear?" Mr. Compress said. He was trying to not let his anger get the best of him.

Ada smiled kindly, but with a sadness behind it. "Thanks . . ." She walked away.

Shigaraki was still grinning. "The game has changed. This time, the villains win."
