I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm and got up for school. I went to my bathroom to brush my teeth, wash my face, and get in the shower.
Once all of my hygiene is done I put on my clothes which is just a skeleton SHEIN hoodie, some black tights, and my black high top converse.
I put my curly hair in a claw clip grab my book bag and headed down stairs for breakfast. "Good morning mama" I said tiredly. "What time you went to bed last night cause you sound exhausted" she said.
"I think about 1 am me and Ky was on the phone for like 6 hours." Me and Kyro have been talking since he dropped me off and I got to know him pretty well.
Who would've known that the popular basketball player is actually a real cool guy. Today he asked me to sit at lunch with him and his crew and I was down.
"Seems like you and Kyro have gotten close since the party huh?" She said smirking. My mom didn't know that I almost died that day. I knew if my mom found out she was going to raise hell. I didn't need any of that so I just didn't tell her.
"Yeah oh and I have to go to his house today for our project so I'll be home by 9 pm." She agreed and we went to the car.

I walked into school and I saw Kyro. He walked up to me and put his arms around my waist and put his face on the side of my neck. I felt everyone staring but I just wrapped my hands around his neck.
"Hey ma" he said in a low tone. "Hi Ky how you feeling?" I asked because yesterday he told me his body was sore from basketball practice. "I'm good how you?" I told him I was good and he walked with me to first period since we had the same class.
I felt my anxiety increasing little by little. "You good rara?" He asked with a worried expression "yeah I'm okay" I replied "Are you going to prom?" I thought about it. "Nope I don't have any reason to go to prom."
"Watchu mean you don't have no reason to go to prom?" He asked confused.
"No friends and no date equals no reason" which was true, I don't have anyone that wants to take me to prom and I have no friends to meet there.
"So if someone was to ask you to go to prom right now you would decline?" Damn the nigga asking like he finna take me to prom or something.
"What somebody tryna ask me to prom or something?" He was starting to make me suspicious. "Naw I'm just asking for a homeboy" once he said that I was kinda disappointed.
I thought maybe he wanted to take me to prom but it's whatever. "Well the answer is no I wouldn't decline" i said slightly smirking. Now we both walk into class before the late bell rings.

The bell just ringed meaning school has ended and now I have to go and find Kyro so we can go to his house. I walk to the parking lot and I see him and one of the girls of the girls basketball team. Her name is essence but they were call her E.
"Hey Ky you ready to go?" I notice that E was finna walk off but before she could he stopped her. "Yeah but rara did my cousin E, E dis my dawg rara." He introduced us "Hi!" I said
"Wassup, but aye ima catch up wit yall later I'm finna go holla at my girl Kie" I then wonder was she talking about Kie from the party.
"You talking about Kie with the big curly hair?" I asked trying to clarify "yeah that's my bestie yall friend?" I don't really even know what me and Kie are now that I think about it.
"Associates" yeah that's it. Associates.
"Yeah we should all hang out some time I'll tell Kie so we can plan it." She said now smiling. "Aight bye yall" she said and we returned the favor.
"You want to go to McDonald's before we go to my house?" He asked as we got into his car. "Yeah"
We went to McDonald's and then we headed to his house.
I just hope it goes alright.
