"Veronica moving all the way to the UK is a big decision you can't just decide your going to move just because you want a fresh start" yelled my mother. I did realize that moving all the way from Missouri to a big city like London would be a big step in my life but that's what I wanted to do that's where I belonged.
"I know mom but I can't stay here anymore I need to live my life I don't want to stay in this small where nothing ever happens, I want an adventure I want to go out and actually do something productive." I realized my argument did sound kind of stupid but I'm 18 for gods sake I'm an adult I should get to decide what I do with my life.
"They have a completely different system over there: different money, they drive on the left side of the road, and it's freezing their most of the time you hate the cold" said my mother even though I know she doesn't know me as well as she thinks she does because I actually do like the cold and I also love rain and gloomy weather which does sound kind of sad and depressing but I don't know I've just always enjoyed weather like that.
My moms a doctor always working and she never has time for me or anything really and she might act like she cares but all she wants is for me to turn out exactly like her and everyone else in this God forbidden town. "Mom listen to me I'm moving to London whether you like it or not there's nothing you can do about it I'm 18 I'm an adult."
*8 hours later*
"Welcome to Heathrow Airport" the air hostess said. The plane ride to London went by faster than I expected and I was finally glad to be in London I would have never thought that I would get an opportunity like this, but this is like a dream come true. I knew London was going to be fun and different and an adventure I didn't realize I wasn't ready for.
