Episode 10: Never Going Back!

Draculaura and Frankie allowed Deuce to stay with them as they all watched a movie on Draculaura's phone to get their minds off everything. but Draculaura couldn't just let this go. she knew no amount of tears would drive Clawdeen back, surely she shed her own tears when Draculaura screamed at her. she didn't blame her for feeling unloved and hated

* what was I thinking? I can't just let her leave! she's my best friend and I love her! we can't just pretend she never existed!*

but Draculaura knew there was nothing she could do, she couldn't just drag Clawdeen back, away from Ellis. she made her choice to stay. Draculaura just wished she could rewind the time and take back everything that happened. maybe Ellis had some pointers on time magic-

*Ellis!*

Draculaura hoped he was still awake as she grabbed her phone

MEANWHILE

after Ellis woke up from his nap, Clawdeen walked back into the store. she and Ellis stared at each other for a couple seconds until Clawdeen sat next to him

Clawdeen: so... how was your nap?

Ellis: pretty good, although I don't like sleeping so much

Clawdeen: me either. when I grow up, I'll pretty much never sleep. speaking of, what do you want to do in the future?

Ellis: well for me, open this place up when I'm ready and start my own business here, then marry the one I love and have kids, then hand this place down to my oldest child, I don't care if it's a boy or girl

Clawdeen: that's nice

Ellis: what do you want to do?

Clawdeen: ummmm, I think I'll just marry someone and have kids and get a small job

Ellis: do you have anyone in mind?

Clawdeen: Deuce. you?

Ellis: I have.. someone

Clawdeen: who?

Ellis: not telling

Clawdeen chuckled

Clawdeen: this is nice

Ellis: yeah, It's really nice to talk with someone. I'm usually alone here

Clawdeen: well I'm happy to talk with you and spend the day with you. but no more sleeping *chuckle*

Ellis: it's been fun, I'm really glad your here

they continue talking when Ellis's phone goes off. he puts it on speaker

Ellis: Draculaura?

Draculaura: *over phone* hey Ellis! I um... I just wanted to see how things were going

Ellis and Clawdeen looked at each other before he replied

Ellis: uh, things are going well. Clawdeen's still getting used to being here

Draculaura: *over phone* that's good

Ellis: did you want to speak with her?

Draculaura: *over phone* yes please...

Clawdeen scooted closer so Draculaura could hear her voice clearly

Clawdeen: hey Draculaura...

Draculaura: *over phone* hey Clawdeen. I just wanted to check in to make sure your okay. we still miss you and Deuce is here

Clawdeen: Deuce....?

Draculaura: *over phone* yeah, and he really misses you, but me and Frankie explained to him you made your choice, and we respect that.
