Sometimes you would think Ikebukuro is a nice place, that is only when the Yellow Scarves and Blue Squares aren't bugging you. No, you don't know them. But they seems really like to bug you, especially at night, after you finished your shift at work. At first, you would just run away from them, and they would laughed it off. But, in this past few days the gangster always following you when you're on your way home. It's creepy, yes.

Fortunately for you, today those gangster didn't seem to be in their usual spot. And you happily walks into a bar. It's your first time to go to this place, but it didn't look so bad after all.

You didn't even bother to look around, you just took a seat accross the counter quickly. A blond, tall man in bartender uniform lit up his eyes to where you sat, putting the glass down on the table. You stay silent for a moment, noticing that the blond bartender is staring at you, probably waiting for you to order something.

"A beer, please." You finally said, a small yet friendly smile on your face.

The bartender didn't said anything in response, he tends to be quiet as he pours down a beer to your glass, then placing it in front of you. You mumbles a small 'Thanks' as you took a sip of your beer. A long sigh escapes your lips in an instant afterwards. You said nothing but only stares at the man in front of you intensely. He seems to notice your eyes were on him, and he sighs; continued to clean the glass.

"Hey," you called out, and he didn't responded. "Bartender-san."

Still you got nothing as a response. You frowned, thinking that maybe he's a quiet and anti-social person. He looks nice enough, yet why is this man didn't nice to the costumer? Oh well, that is really none of your business.

"Bartender-san?"

"Bartender-san?"

"Bartender-san?"

His left eyebrow is twitching, a pure irritated look on his face as he turns his gaze and attention to you. "What?" He snapped, not very nice at all.

Finally gaining his attention, a bright smile made its way onto your lips. Though that wasn't very nice, but you're still kind of happy that he didn't really ignore your presence.

"I understand if you didn't really want to make a conversation, but, I really wanted to you to at least listening to me." You said, and he remains quiet. "Can you please listening?"

He looks hesitated for a moment, but then a small, almost inaudible sigh tumble from his lips. You take it as a sign to tell your story, or whatever it is. And you started to tell him about everything you get through, from your job, Yellow Scarves and Blue Squares who always following you, a poor kitten you see in a small alley, and all. He didn't seem to annoyed nor interested, but you can tell that he's actually listening. After you've finished telling him about your day, you gulped the beer until the glass is empty.

He averted his gaze from the glass he held within his hand over to your features, still remained silent. His brown eyes stares at you, a slightest curiosity written over his face. The sweet smile that lingered on your lips didn't go unnoticed, as well as a small giggle that left your lips.

"You're actually nice, Bartender-san." You said suddenly. He frowned a bit, a kind of 'what-do-you-mean' look on his face. "Thank you for listening, though I know you didn't really want to."

For the first time, he mumbles something like 'It's fine' as he averted his gaze from you. You blinked, didn't really catch what he's saying, and you asked him to repeat.

"I said it's fine."

You smiled and introduced yourself, "I think we can get along well. Don't you think so too?"

"...I don't think so." He said abruptly, but the smile on your face didn't vanished from sight. Was he expected you to be afraid of him? Because, in the past few years, ever since he obtained his monstrous strength, no one ever dare to look at him in the eyes or talked to him normally. Well, he's quiet surprised that you seems didn't really afraid of him. But he expects you will, after you know him--his monstrous strength.

"What's your name?" You asked, ignoring his previous abrupt reply. "Bartender-san sounds weird, right?"

It took him a moment to think, whether he should tell you his name or no, and then after another moment, he speak up. "Heiwajima." A small pause is occurred before he continued. "Heiwajima Shizuo."
