Today was the day after the amusement park, the day on which Ethan leaves for his university in London, also shocking news him and ava are going to the same university but since her course doesn't start until next month she's staying back for some time!

I got up at 2am and started to get ready after confirming that my mom was getting ready too, Today was going to be hard I can feel it already but I kept a smile on my face because I cant let him see me cry when he's leaving, he might just have second thoughts(yeah, we're that close) I put on a simple t shirt with jeans and a cute sling bag I painted was in my hand as I went downstairs to my mom

"you ready hun?"

"yeah mom, lets go" but I wasn't tbh

"alright lets hit the road"

We were currently headed to Ethan's house because my mom has the big car we were picking up his parents too, I guess my moms instincts knew I was kinda sad right now, she squeezed my had softly,

"you know that he'll visit us often right hun?"

" yeah I know mom" I said while trying to sound happy

"then cheer up honey, you know its for his best!" she said sounding cheerful

"I will thanks mom, that made me feel a lot better" I said to her with a smile

Then we were at Ethan's house as his parents shuffled in with his suitcases I went to help, where I found my sleepy cousin stumbling in too,

"Heyy idiot you ready?" i asked him

"Yeah, i think!" he said back with a smile

"as long as you don't miss me too much " he teased me with a smile while shuffling my hair

"Nah, I bet I won't" As I teased him back

"We'll see about that" yeah we will, I thought

"get in the car kids'' my uncle called,

"We're not kids dad, I'm literally about to go abroad to study" he said as I agreed

"In my eyes you'll always be a baby Ethan, no matter how old you are, you too y/n" he said with a smile(my parents say this to me often, it makes my heart melt :))

We got in the car and started driving, we chatted as we headed there, then we were finnaly at the airport, since we could only go with him till the gate, it was time to say our goodbyes

We all took turns hugging and bidding our byes, when my turn came I was trying so hard to not cry and I guess I succeeded:\

"I hope you have a lotta fun Ethan, dont forget to call me or text me everyday " I told him as I hugged him

"yeah you to sis" he said hugging me tightly

And then he was off, my cousin who I grew up with has left to collage , I'm happy for him I really am, I just hoped I would've treasured the times we had even more then I did before. but yeah i guess he will visit so...I'm still gonna miss him tho

On the ride back home Ethan's mom was sniffling as his dad tried to comfort her, as this was happening i decided to take out my phone and do something else
