You and Pebble have been dating for a few months now, everything was nice. He was loving, made sure you were okay, and always had his own odd methods of cheering you up, even if it involved listening to you vent while feeding you candy.

You and Pebble were just waling around the streets of ramshackle, looking for something to do; although, everything there was either involved crime, which you didn't feel like running from the cops today, or it was reserved for rich people, which neither you or Pebble were so your options were pretty limited. You just ended up sitting in an alleyway while Pebble sat next to you, playing with your hair a bit.

The silence was nice, other than the occasional background noise, it was quiet and you liked that, Pebble rested his head on your shoulder to get your attention, looking at you with his signature smile as he spoke quietly. "I love youu"

That caught you off guard, neither you or him have ever said that to each other, the closest It's gotten to the whole 'I love you' thing was when you two found out you had a massive crush on each other. You just sat there stunned for a moment before you smiled slightly and gave Pebble a quick kiss on the cheek. "I love you too"
