For a new day, Rajveer was excitedly getting ready. He heard a knock and opened happily as was expecting Naina but the smile was gone when saw her.

Rajveer (with cold voice) : "Aap yaha pe kya rahi hain Miss Jadeja woh bhi itni subah".

Avni (softly) : "Please Rajveer, it's Avni".

Rajveer (wanted to avoid her) : "I am getting late."

Avni was hurt by his behaviour but still smiled and said

Avni : "It's ok, I will wait for you in the mess".

Rajveer (irritatingly) : "Miss Jadeja, ye army ka base hain. Aapka campus nahi jaha pe aap wait karengi. (inhaled a breath) Dekho, main aap ko pehle bhi kah chuka hu, please wapas chale jao. Maine kal raat aapke liye room arrange kara diya tha par har roz yaha nahi ruk sakti".

Rajveer just wanted to meet Naina and she was wasting his time. Avni has come from Delhi to see him but he is not even interested in talking to her. She felt he was irritated from last night as otherwise did not behave like this with her.

Avni (smilingly) : "Rajveer, please main kal jaa rahi hu. I wanted to spend some time with you. Kuch din mae toh.....".

Rajveer was listening to her while wearing his watch. He didn't let her complete, locked the door and speak to her who was standing on the side of the door

Rajveer (in loud voice) : "Miss Jadeja, chaliye mess mae chalte hain".

Avni ignored his behaviour and walked with him till the mess. Rajveer didn't talk to her and was looking here and there to find one special person. He just wanted to see her but then thought it's better, if she is not here then what will explain to her.

Rajveer (while entering the mess) : "I will arrange a ride for tomorrow".

He left Avni alone to get breakfast for them and she didn't like it as he is not even trying to speak with her. She has been missing him for one year since last saw him. He only calls once in a week to check, if needs anything but doesn't he knows, she needs him. He always tries to avoid coming and seeing her. Avni is not able to understand why Rajveer is not allowing her to be near him, if he doesn't like her or there is someone else.....This thought even makes her more sadder as she knows there would be, such a handsome, honest and good hearted person must have been loved or he has loved someone.

Rajveer brought two plates, sat in the opposite chair to her and was relieved not to find Naina here. He has decided to go and check on her as soon gets free from Avni. He doesn't want to hurt her but why can't she see that he is not interested. Rajveer won't be as there is only one girl who has his heart and no one can take her place. Avni can be the only person who he knows and nothing more than that. Their relationship was just a promise that Rajveer was forced to make or did he even promise anything.....

Avni can see frustration on his face and eat little breakfast to leave from here. She was going to her room asking herself, why can't let him go. She is in pain but still does not want to leave him as knows won't get another person like him who is innocent, honest and does not take advantage of you even if you want him to or will never try to do that.

Rajveer stopped eating as soon as Avni leaves and puts plates back to the counter. He rushed out to Naina's room and found it locked. So, he went to the infirmary and was relaxed when saw her talking to a nurse. Rajveer followed Naina, who entered a room where a man was lying in bed. The room door was a little bit open, so, he could see inside.

She dragged a chair and sat next to him. His felt a pinch in his heart when saw both of them smiling. She gave him a plate filled with freshly cut fruits and that man took it without any refusal. The way they were talking and comfortable with each other made it clear that they may be close friends. But Rajveer is not able to recognise him as hasn't seen him before and is wondering how they become good friends.
