Epilogue

" Walang Pasok ALL LEVELS naman sa mga lalawigan ng Cavite, Laguna, Rizal "
" Antipolo " ...
" Yunnn ! " ( Sigaw mula sa loob ng bahay, boses ng tuwa galing kay jeru ? )
" Sana hanggang friday na " ( may sumabat na boses na parang paos ? Kay james ? )
" Believe me now? " ( this small soft voice , Kay chloe )
" ano naman kung sumabog nga? , lalo lang dadami ang gawain natin kahit walang pasok "
( singit ng isa pang boses from a female and that tone of maturity on her voice si Ella )
Making me smile, even though she's the youngest among my nieces, just 9 mag 10 this March , mas bata siya ng dalawang taon Kay Chloe who will be turning 12 this February.
Matured magisip si janella, while my two guy cousins sina jethro and James both in their 1st year high schools.
As i heard the voices of reporters
" nagkakaubusan na ng N95 masks " ...
Nasa sala sila or Second floor, watching news , more on waiting for suspension, the whole house is quite at a time like this kaya kahit nasa basement pa sila sa lakas ng bises nila maririnig at maririnig sila.
I am currently on our mini deck.
Kung saan ako nagduduyan feeling the air.
" ang hirap pag tumagal tumitigas delikado "
" pag umuulan po, madulas malagkit ,
Tapos pag natuyo ganyan parang semento "
Affected area kami CALABARZON we lived in Antipolo, mountain subdivision.
Swaying in a slow phase on the top of our balcony a small deck viewing the mountain ranges and the foggy skies , letting the wind caress my skin.
a sudden breeze of wind touches my skin.
" mmm " ... closing my eyes and gripping tighter sa kumot ko..
Once its passes,
open my eyes,
breathing..
My eyes diverted from my book, gazing down on a corner checking if mayroon pang apoy yung dala kong lamp.
The fire stands as a protection from those particles.
Sa gilid ko siya nilagay, secluded enough para Hindi mamatay agad.
Malakas ang hangin, at sumasayaw sayaw ang maliit niyang natitirang liwanag pag nag tuloy tuloy, mamatay ang apoy so I need to get in.
" mukhang kailangan ko ng pumasok " , sinara ko ang pocket book at bumaba ng duyan. ..
As i hold my lamp on the floor i notice the drops, its color and smell.
My pocket book has drops of grayish as I hold it and look closer as the rain grew larger confirming it is ash..
" papasok na ", sabi ko sa sarili ko.
Leaving my duyan, getting my book, lantern then heads down , to a black staircase pa S ang pattern .
