(Steven is waking in a daze, a ringing in his ear and looking really worried. The siren of an alarm is heard, as he looks around and sees Beach City Funland in ruins, with giant teacups scattered across the park, and several people including Dedede, and seem to be hurt. Only appears unharmed, standing up and looking in Steven's direction.)
(Time Skip - 2 weeks after the incident)
(The are warping through a warp stream.)
"Pay attention Steven, this is going to be your first serious mission. You need to be ready." Garnet said
(is warping upside-down excitedly) "Yes! I'm ready, I'm so ready!" Steven said
"Steven, come on, you're gonna make yourself sick." (turns Steven upright, gets hit in the eye by Steven's and scoffs) "Why did you bring that?" Pearl asked
"I don't know! I was excited, and i-it's mine, and I like it!" (The ukulele starts floating away upwards and Steven swims after it.) "Huh?" Steven asked
"I got him!" Dedede said (swims after Steven.)
"Steven, Dedede, you two get back here! You could get seriously-" (The Gems warp safely onto a in the middle of a field of giant strawberries.) "...hurt!" Pearl shouted
(Dedede and Steven warp several feet into the air and several yards away from the Warp Pad, and fall into the strawberry field, groaning in pain.)
"Steven! Are you...??" Pearl didn't get to finish
(gets up) "I-I'm fine! I'm good. I'm just gooey." Steven said
(gets up) "is this strawberry?" Dedede asked
(Steven finds himself covered in strawberry juice and licks his arm. He then sees a swarm of butterflies surrounding him, and they cling onto his face and arms.)
"Aaaah! Aah! They're in my eyes!" Steven shouted (runs around while frantically yelling and trips over)
"Hang on kid, I think I have a rag in my robe." Dedede said
(swats the butterflies away from Steven) "They're just butterflies, guys." Garnet said
(gets up and laughs sheepishly) "Well, they looked a lot bigger when they were on my eyeballs." Steven said
(laughs) "Steven, you're a riot!" Amethyst said
(to Garnet) "I'm suddenly having second thoughts about bringing Steven and Dedede on this mission." Pearl said
(puts her palm on Pearl's shoulder) "Shh. Just look at them." (Steven strikes a determined pose as Dedede was trying to wring the strawberry juice out of his robe.) "Now let's go recover the ." Garnet said
(The Crystal Gems begin walking through the strawberry field, littered with swords stuck in the ground.)
(looking around) "Unbelievable, this was once a battlefield, now it's wild strawberries as far as the eye can see!" (twirls in joy) "Oh, that's what I love about the ! Maybe this will be a light mission after all." (Garnet comes to a halt and Pearl bumps into her.) Oomph." Pearl said
(The Crystal Gems find themselves standing in front of .)
"Maybe not." Garnet said
"That thing is big." Dedede said
(Garnet summons a small pyramid piece and slots it into the Pyramid Temple. The door magically disappears, revealing a path into the temple.)
"Woooaaahhh!" Steven said
