Bright, flashing lightning lighting up the sky like fireworks; banging, crashing thunder roaring furiously, sizzling electrifying lightning zipping across the night sky.

Naira flinched when she heard the loud roaring sound of thunder. The lights went off as she let out a sigh.

The day was sizzling hot and now during the night, it's raining. Unseasonal rain!

Unseasonal rain was never a piece of good news for her.

Switching on her phone torch, she carefully went out of the kitchen.
Due to heavy rain, the ground floor corridors were fully drenched and slippery.

She was about to go up when her eyes fell on a tall dark shadow standing at the other side of the house.

She carefully made her way towards the tall dark shadow, as she was already bare feet and the floor was already slippery due to water, she tried her best not to fall down. With the support of the pillars that were standing in the middle, she reached near the tall dark shadow.

She slowly took a step ahead but her bad luck, her bare foot slipped causing a yelp escape from her lips. She closed her eyes tightly waiting to kiss the ground and break some bones. She felt a tight hold around her right wrist, preventing her from falling.

" You're safe." She heard a familiar deep masculine voice.

She slowly opened her right eye then her left one, only to face darkness. She felt her phone still in her left hand, the torch reflecting from the phone was off. God knows how?

She switched on her phone's screen as a dim light shone back. Enough for her to see the person's face standing opposite.
As she got a glimpse of the male standing in front holding her wrist tightly, her heartbeat fastened.

Rudransh Rathore.

Within a second he pulled her towards himself causing her to almost bump into his chest. Only the dim light of her phone screen between them, Naira's eyes slightly widened at the sudden proximity between them. Her heartbeat fastened more, she was afraid if he could hear her abnormal heart beat.

She felt some weird tingling sensations inside her body, the same sensations she felt when she met him for the first time.

They kept one looking into each other's eyes. Even if she wanted to break the eye contact, she can't. As if she wants to drown in those grey orbs and never come back.

Aankhon ka aitbaar na karna yar,
Ye uthe toh katal-e-aam karti h.

Koi inki nigaahon pe pehra lagao yaro,
Yeh nigaahon se hin khanzar
ka kam krte h.

The notification popped up sound from her phone was enough for them to comeback to reality. She slowly detached her wrist from his hold as she maintained some safe distance between them.
