In the morning, Jungkook was sleeping peacefully because he didn't go to his company today, but got disturbed by a phone call. He groaned and looked to see who it was—Kai. So, he picked up the call.
Kai: "Good morning, sir. A white car left from the house, sir."
Kook: "Umm, okay. Any other news? Did you find anything suspicious?"
Kai: "No, sir. I didn’t find anyone or anything suspicious."
Kook: "Okay. Keep an eye on the house until I come there."
Kai: "Yes, sir."
He cut the call and went to the bathroom to do his morning routine. After a few minutes, he came out, quickly grabbed his key, and left the house.
Jungkook stopped his car at an electronics store to buy something. He came back with a small bag and started driving to Taehyung’s house.

He reached Taehyung's place and informed Kai to keep an eye on the outside, to see if anyone came back again or not, and then he went inside.
When Jungkook entered the place, he first looked in all directions. Yes—Jeon Jungkook brought a few small secret CCTV cameras to fix inside Taehyung's house.
He went straight to a room, and he knew this room was Taehyung's for sure. He looked around the small space and fixed one camera. Then, he went to the living room and kitchen to fix the others, and soon he was done.
After that, he went out to his bodyguards and gave them three other cameras to fix in the places he mentioned: outside of Taehyung's street, the main door, and the garden—for his safety.
After fixing all the cameras, he lastly glanced at the house once again and left for his house to take some rest.

Taehyung came home and directly went to sleep because he was so tired, and he didn’t even eat anything. But the entire scene was being watched by Jungkook live, and he observed his dull face with worry. Still— a naughty smirk appeared on his handsome face.
He woke up from bed, grabbed his car key, went to his car, and started driving to Taehyung’s house. He wanted to be beside him right now, so he was going to him.

He reached Taehyung's house and slowly walked inside. He opened the door without making a sound and entered the room. Jungkook slowly lay down beside him and started admiring him.
He was lost in his beauty and that innocent face of his—his pouty lips, long eyelashes, small nose—everything made him lose himself. Without even realising, Jungkook was falling for him more and more.
Jungkook didn’t love Taehyung for his beauty. Every time he saw him, he didn’t know why, but he always wanted to be with him, to see his smile. Taehyung’s presence alone made him smile without knowing. He once loved someone for years—maybe still does—but his heart craved Taehyung’s presence... and maybe his love too.
Jungkook himself didn’t know he was in love with him. He didn’t realise how quickly time passed, but he kept looking at Taehyung.
Suddenly, he realised he had been looking at him for over an hour. He sheepishly smiled at Taehyung’s sleeping face, then looked out the window.
The sun was about to rise—he had to leave now. If not, Taehyung would wake up. So, he slowly got up from the bed, covered Taehyung with the duvet to keep him warm, smiled at him one last time, and left the room quietly.

Jungkook reached his house and went directly to his room. He threw himself on the bed and started kicking his legs in the air, smiling to himself while thinking about him. But his phone interrupted his thoughts, making Jungkook groan.
Kook: "God, why does this useless phone always ring? Arghhh, this piece of shit."
He angrily shouted at the phone, saw the caller ID, and it was Hobi. This time, he lifted the call.
Kook: "What, hyung?"
Hobi: "Woah, Kook! This is how you greet your hyung, brat?"
Kook: "Good morning to you too, hyung. Now tell me, why did you call me this early?"
Hobi: "Actually, Kook, Yoongi has a deal with Vante Cooperation, but he went to Japan for our weapons and also got information about our enemies. So Kook, can you cover Yoongi’s place? I’m coming with you, but I also have a meeting with them. So you’ll have to attend the meeting in Yoongi’s place. What do you say?"
Hobi asked, and Jungkook was literally dancing in happiness. He didn’t know why, but he was so happy to meet Taehyung again.
Kook: "Okay, hyung. I’m going with you. When?"
Hobi: "Tomorrow, Kook. I’ll call you later. Bye, Kook."
He ended the call, and Jungkook was jumping, but then he paused for a moment and looked at his phone. Jungkook grabbed it and started caressing it.
Kook: "You’re such a precious one, you know that? Wow... from now on, I have to protect you too."
He smiled widely and fell asleep.
