Chapter 7: 2 is better than 1 (part 2)

A/N: (Quick shout out to @Bella082958 and @Lululululululu6 ) Dang, I took so long I totally blame it on school. I would drop out if I could 😒 I didn't even know if I would ever finish this chapter. But it's all thanks to you guys! All your nice comments even if it's just a few, gave me a whole lot of confidence and it gave me the motivation to continue working hard on all this. Even if you don't make any comments, just you reading this story I made is enough 🥹. I made a promise and I'm going to keep it, I will never give up on this story, and it will have an ending. Even if it takes me forever and I wouldn't want to work on this anymore, the only way this story will remain incomplete is if I'm dead. :)

(Still Buttercups P.O.V)

I felt a tad bit guilty when I saw Butch's face. To make things worse, everyone heard my little outburst. Bubbles was covering her mouth in surprise, Blossom was staring at me in shock, and then Boomer was just looking at the ground with a sad expression but also some anger.Brick had not woken up yet, but if he heard me say that I'm positive he would have flew to beat me with no hesitation,or at least try too. I looked back at Butch, I tried to shake off the guilt I had, and attempted to say a smart remark but...I saw something fall and hit the floor.

It was a tear.

I slowly looked back up again and I got a good look at Butch's face through all the blurry tears coming out my eyes. He was crying. Everyone including me just stared in disbelief. I couldn't even comprehend what I was seeing. What the hell?? Is this because of the curse.. or is it for real? Does this mean he's affected by the curse too? I was just... speechless! That guilt came back, and it came back hard. Buttercup: "I-I...."
Nothing. All I could say was Nothing. I was expecting him to punch me, yell at me heck even laugh at me saying how lame my remark was, but this? Butch just angrily wiped at his tears and seemed confused. This made me confused myself, then he just said. Butch: "Why am I crying!?..." I was relieved to hear this, This basically means he's affected by the curse too. Well...I hope.
Butch: "w-wait don't tell me-" pretty soon he started to hiccup as well. Buttercup: "w-well I guess I'm not t-the only 'baby' now, huh?"
Butch growled at me and just sat down without saying anything. Boomer went to check on him, but he just shrugged it off and told Boomer to leave him alone. I sat down as well, and tried to be as far as I could away from him. And then I saw both my sisters flying towards me. Blossom: "Buttercup what were you thinking!? I get he isn't your favorite person but he still has feelings.." Bubbles: "Yeah...that wasn't very nice.." As much as I wanted to prove them wrong, I knew they were right. Buttercup: "Yeah..I know." Blossom: "you need to apologize to him." Buttercup: "Oh y-yeah, why n-not some flowers while w-we're at it?"
Blossom and Bubbles: "Buttercup!!" Buttercup: "A-alright alright sheesh....I'll a-apologize.. but not right n-now. Blossom: "That's fine, as long as you apologize today." Bubbles just nodded in agreement. Bubbles: "so..do you want us to keep you company??" Buttercup: Sure..I g-guess that would be nice." We were talking for a couple of minutes before we heard some groaning. We turned our heads and saw Brick waking up. Butch got up and started flying towards him, the chain yanked me and took me with him. Buttercup: "H-HEY!" I was able to fly and catch myself before I landed face front onto the floor. Buttercup: "W-watch it n-next time!!" Butch just ignored me and continued flying till he reached him. We were both standing over Brick and when he fully woke up he was looking at us like we were aliens. Buttercup: "What are you looking at?" Brick: I don't know what I'm looking at.. What in the HELL happened!? Just who am I looking at!?
Blossom suddenly came and spoke before I said anything.(A/N: Bubbles is just having small talk with Boomer) Blossom: "Did I hit you in the head too hard? You're looking at Buttercup and Butch."
Brick: NO, I'm looking at 2 CRYBABIES. So I'm going to ask you again, what. The hell. Happened.
Buttercup: "You B-BETTER watch who you're t-talking too!" Brick: "Now normally I'd be annoyed, but the whole crying and stuttering made it really weak, pathetic and kind of sad. It was that lame." Buttercup: "W-what's pathetic is how long you w-were out for. Blossom must have really b-beaten you, huh?" Muffled giggles could be heard from Blossom. I could tell she was trying her hardest not to laugh, but who wouldn't??
Brick was really pissed off but it seemed he was trying to calm down. Brick: "Shut up, and just tell me what happened NOW!!" I didn't want too, but it didn't matter anyway. Butch started telling him everything, while throwing in some insults for Him(Lobster demon) from time to time. Finally he finished and Brick Just pinched his nose while having a disgusted look on his face. Brick: So This dumb Handcuff thing isn't the only thing that onion-eyed lobster has in store for us." Blossom: "Yep." Brick: I wasn't asking you Pinky! Blossom just rolled her eyes and kept quiet. Brick: "What in the world caused you to start crying in the first place Butch?!" Butch: "W-we were just f-fighting and then B-Butterbutt said-" I stepped on him and just gave him a look that warned him not to say another word. He looked at me in disgust but listened. Good thing he did, or he would have been on the floor getting KICKED by me. Brick: "Said WHAT?" Butch: "I f-forgot, all I know is that we w-were fighting." Brick: "Butch, WHAT did I say about doing anything stupid with her!?"
Butch: "N-Not to do it, yes I know,mom" I bursted out laughing but quickly stopped when I got a glare from a Brick, and Blossom signaling, 'now wasn't the time.' Butch smirked at Brick, Brick: "WIPE that SMIRK off your face, I got a hunch as to why you guys are practically sobbing your eyes out." Blossom: "Well this should be good." The sarcasm totally got me,I started laughing so hard I practically fell on the floor struggling to breathe!! Even Butch couldn't help but Chuckle. Brick: "SHUT UP YOU SISSY! IF YOU WANT TO STOP CRYING LIKE A BABY, THEN LISTEN AND LISTEN GOOD!!" That got my attention. I stopped laughing and stood up. Brick: *AHEM* "NOW, I'm only going to say this ONE TIME!, If Butch started crying because of you idiots ARGUING then MAYBE that's the trigger for your CURSE. If you both STOP then MAYBE JUST MAYBE! The crying will stop as well. Butter- what's your name, you were bawling your eyes out even more as you two continued arguing CORRECT?" He was really testing my patience with butchering my name and annoying tone same with Butch, but I just reluctantly answered. Buttercup: "Y-yeah?" Brick: "Then that just proves my point!! The more you ARGUE the more you CRY. STOP ARGUING, and this won't happen. Then again with wimpy lame-o's like You sissy's, I don't Blame Butch for arguing with you at ALL. I got really irritated but I managed to hold my tongue. Blossom: "Wow...I was not expecting that-" To be honest what Brick said made sense, It would explain what Him meant by "Relationship" between me and Butch, considering We fight and argue all the time and we pretty much hate each other. Brick: "Yeah well You aren't the Only one with the brains Pinky."
Blossom: "Okay..Well I hate to admit it but, it seems Brick's theory might be right." Brick: I'm always right, Oh yeah I've been meaning to ask what is up with those cuts on your ARM? I know I didn't do that." Blossom: "Oh that's from Breaking the window..it's a bit of a long story." Brick: "Whatever, I really don't care. Come on Butch Let's go to the other side" Butch was going with Brick, but because of these dumb handcuffs I was moving along with them. Brick groaned. Brick: "Right, I forgot about THAT. Well I'd rather choke than be with a sissy!" Butch: "You think I'M having fun?!" I shoved him as soon as he said that. He got mad and tried shoving me back and it was turning into a fist fight. Blossom and Brick were Trying to break it up. Brick: "BUTCH! if you don't STOP ILL be the one fighting YOU!!" Blossom: "Buttercup, cut it out!!"
I wasn't happy but eventually I stopped while grumbling. Butch just stuck his tongue out at me. I stuck my tongue out back. Next thing we knew the tears were flowing more than ever. Buttercup: "UGH! S-seriously!?" Butch: "A-are the four hours u-up yet!??? This is s-so ANNOYING!!"
Brick: "I told you to STOP, Now look what you done!!" Brick facepalmed himself in annoyance, IM GLAD. Then Blossom answered Butch's question. Blossom: "Uh no, it's barely been an hour yet unfortunately." When I tell you I wanted to SCREAM, and bang my head on the wall REPEATEDLY. I knew Butch was pissed off too, I Could feel him twitching because off the chain rattling and shaking from the handcuffs. Butch: "If t-this is a joke, Its n-not FUNNY!!" This GORILLA grabbed Blossom by the shirt and was yelling at her. Brick wasn't doing A DARN thing about it!! This was to be expected though, he couldn't care LESS about this, I'll bet he's glad Butch is doing this to Blossom!! (A/N: Spoiler alert, he was.) Buttercup: "Butch, B-Blossom is NOT the type to LIE about s-something like this!! If you d-don't take your h-hand off her so HELP ME.." Butch: "And Why should I l-listen t-to you!?" Buttercup: "If you d-don't, you'll FIND OUT." Butch: "Does it look I care?" Brick: "Put her down, unless you feel like crying more cause of you and Butterbutts constant bickering!" Butch: "FINE." He dropped her and rolled his eyes. I SWEAR if it wasn't for this curse and handcuffs, he and Brick would have been put to SLEEP, BY ME. Brick: "GOOD, now come on Butch you stay on our side while Butterbutt stays on the other side. Just sit next to the line or whatever." We Did just that. Brick:" I'm going to the bathroom, just WATCHING A sissy sit next to my brother makes me want to VOMIT.🤮" He flew to the bathroom, and now it was just me and him, great. Blossom went to sit with Bubbles, and Boomer went to the restroom too. I figured since there was no one else around I might as well apologize now. I already know this is going to be nothing short of TORTURE. Nothing I can do about it though except suck it up besides, I still feel a bit bad about what I said. So I turned my head towards him. Buttercup: "Butch." Butch: "What do you want?!" Alright, you do this Buttercup. Just try not to hurl. Buttercup: "I-I.."
Butch: "you,you.. what a-about you?!" Spit it out Me!! Buttercup: "I-I...I..I'm..sss.shor- ...sorry!" Buttercup: "I'm sorry okay?..for..what I said..earlier.." Butch just looked at me with his mouth opened, like he witnessed a murder. Buttercup: "Keep your mouth opened like that and a fly will go in it."

Wait. Did I just say a sentence without crying and stuttering?
I wiped my eyes. All the tears dried up. YES!
Butch noticed it and checked his face, when he had no tears he had a smirk but then he looked at me again. Butch: "Apology NOT-
I already knew what he was going to say so I cut him off. Buttercup: "Be careful with what you say, or do you want this whole thing to start up again? After it just stopped too?."
Butch grimaced but kept talking. Butch: "Alright WHATEVER. I'll accept it, doesn't mean I'll forgive you Butterbutt." Buttercup: "It's Buttercup!, and i don't care whether you forgive me or not, I just wanted to apologize." I looked away from him, after all I already said what I needed to say, so no point talking to him any more. All I know is that this is going to be a LONG day. 😒

A/N: AND THATS IT!! I know this might have been a boring chapter but it'll get a bit more exciting next chapter. I definitely could have wrote more, it's like my writers block just disappeared in thin air! Some news, this will be in 3 or 4 parts. That's right! So next chapter is the same name but part 3. Truth be told I haven't even STARTED on this chapter until the day before yesterday. School was slowing me down. Yet I got this done in like 1 or 2 days. Which is totally wild to me. I'm also sorry I didn't include any pictures but it's because I'm going on VACATION YIPEEE!! As we speak I'm about to leave lol. I will either edit this chapter with some pictures later on, or just include lots more in the next couple of chapters. Until then, see you next time!!
