"you didn't wear the helmet?!?"

"nah. you ain't gonna crash us anyway."

"i mean, yeah— but still! safety precautions dude!"

[name] ignored minu's distressed whine, looking up at the orange tinted sky. the clouds and the sun setting frm the far distance created such a serene view, she couldn't get enough of it.

"by the way, you just enrolled at sunny high right? what's your class?"

"class 2-1."

minu gasped dramatically, and [name] bonked him on his head when he tried to look back at her.

"eyes on the road, dumbass!"

"sorry! and don't hit me on the head, i ain't got a helmet on!"

[name] rolled her eyes, re-adjusting the helmet she was wearing since minu forced her to wear it instead of him.

"you aren't in my class though..."

"yeah, that's probably for the better. i'd rather not watch you flirt with girls like you always brag about."

"whaaat? are you jealous or something? don't worry, you have a special place in my—"

"no, i just find it cringe and weird."

her straightforward answer wiped the flirty grin on minu's face, and he peddled dejectedly as if he was just rejected by his crush.

"you didn't even stutter..."

"you can stop by here."

minu did as told, confused when she got off, placed the helmet back on his head and stood there for a while, as if waiting for him to go.

"what?"

"aren't you gonna go in now? i'm not leaving until i see you get in your house."

"...just go. it's just around the corner."

her curt response made minu frown. he knew she was stubborn, but he doesn't like dealing with this behaviour. especially when it involves her safety.

[name] then groaned, starting to push minu's bike forward to urge him to go.

"just go, minu... i don't want that woman to see you. she'd probably think of something else..."

"is that really your reason?"

the girl nodded her head slowly, looking away.

"yeah. so go now."

"ughhh... i swear, i could never win against you."

groaned the brunette boy, clipping his helmet back in place as he placed one foot back on the peddle of his bike.

"be careful, alright? i'll text you as soon as i get home."

"yeah yeah, go now. i'll text you too."
