The very existence of the sky is to give us hope. Hope that there is always a tomorrow, a new beginning, a fresh start, you can refer to it whatever you want. Wither its a beginning of something extraordinary or the mending of the past; in life its always about forgiving but we never forget. Why don't we forget? Why can't we just forget and maybe for once the world would be peaceful. In conclusion,  Adella decided to forget the past- that is before she saw him again.

The mere sight of him made her heart flutter and her body to sing a lustful song. She didn't realize that love never leaves, it is only our mind convincing us to forget and to venture off with someone else, but our hearts would morn the loss and for each man you love a part of your heart leaves with him. After Hook, Adella tried to "move on." Though word spread of the princess and her human child and mermen upon seeing Adella turned the other way. Her attempt to move one was fruitless which led to her devoting her time to raise the child that brought her great joy. A child who was orphaned and slaved. Adella freed that child. As her love grew towards the young boy, she decided to adopt him through ancient rituals.

When mermaids were near extinction, her great grand father gathered all the "gifted" of her kind. Upon strict instructions they were to find a solution to their dying race. An old and wise mermaid gifted with the power of magic, decided to try some of the rituals used by wizards. The plot was to kidnap human children that were ill treated, or orphaned to drink a potion that would "adopt" the child to a specific family. The children in a daze like state would make their way towards the sea. They would drown and their bodies would sink into the ocean. At the bottom of the sea, families that have lost their children fed those bodies seaweeds dipped in the potion of transformation. The child would wake up as a mermaid and adopt features of the family he/she is now part off. This method helped our dying race to expand.

Adella asked Val that day if he would accept such an offer, to move on from being a human and orphan to being her child. He gladly agreed. As a result Val is now a prince and heir to the throne.

Her eyes fluttered open lazily at the wet kisses planted on her neck. Her smile meet his, before her arms pulled his face to hers. Their lips met and parted. Hook's fingers drew circles on her flesh. "My sister must be worried sick, or dying to know every detail of this encounter." She threw he head back as laughter left her plump lips. When her laughter met a silent room, her eyes peaked at him from under her lashes. Her hands busy with gathering her clothes from around the bed. "What's the matter Killian?"

Suddenly her body was turned to him and his fingers tightening around her arms. "Promise me you won't leave, Adella." His eyes searched her eyes, as if contemplating if this is real, if she is real. Urgently, he kissed her lips, forehead, cheeks and nose. "Promise me that you would stay with me. Adella, I love you!" He shook her body lightly. His hands fell to his sides and he turned away from her. Hands gripping at his hair.

Adella shocked at the sudden change in his mood, jumped out of bed and wrapped her arms around him. "I promise to be with you."

His lips met hers once again, but this time in a frenzy.

Val cursed the living daylight out of this trip as he angrily trudged towards the pirates ship. "Val darling tell me all about the pirate.. what do you think they're doing.. as if I care!" He mumbled to himself.

Heads turned as he passed by. A man well dressed with a beautiful face and an aura that sends vibes of an imaginable wealth tends to have people turning to look at you. Mothers nudged their daughters in competition and hope that their daughter would be his wife. Yet, Val paid no attention to anyone. His only thought was to get his mother back as a result his aunt would stop nagging him for answers.

The boat floated above the ocean with the waves smacking into its wooden walls. It rocked with the current and for one minute Val was stuck in his thought. He remembered scrubbing the decks and cleaning pirates wastes. He scrunched his face at the latter, a very disgusting memory where he could also recall the exact scent that made his stomach flip. He shook his head. "I'm a prince now." He whispered to himself.

With confidence he boarded the ship.
