"So how are we going to do this?" Jungkook murmurs quietly, still a little groggy. He had just woken up, after all. "The feast is at dawn tomorrow. I think we should spend all day planning today."

"I agree," Jimin nods. "We need a plan. I've been thinking it over while you were sleeping."

"Yeah?" Jungkook yawns. "What do you have in mind?"

"Well, obviously we get in and get out as fast as possible. We don't want to encounter people," Jimin first states the obvious. "I think we should try to get there as early as we can, but not too early, you know? We don't want to camp there, in case we get ambushed, correct?"

"Right," Jungkook confirms. "We'll get there early in the morning before the sun rises."

"Exactly. And once there, we'll scout out where our supplies are, and we'll get in and out," Jimin continues. "I think I should be the one to grab our things, and you stay by me as the defense? I'm more nimble than you are, I could probably get around people quicker. You're better at wielding an axe than I am at wielding a sword. Obviously I'll help defend us too if necessary, but my main focus will be grabbing what we need, while yours will exclusively be defending us."

"I...I like that," Jungkook nods slowly. "Yeah, I really don't have any notes. I think it's a really good plan."

"Oh, cool," Jimin can't help but smile, a bit proud of himself. "Thank you. If you have any notes though, make sure to tell me, Koo, alright? I won't be upset if you have some tweaks."

"Right now I don't," Jungkook assures him. "I think it's our best shot. We just need to be really careful."

"Yep," Jimin nods. "Alright...we should probably get moving though. Let's go over exactly how we're going to do it. Every single step. If we play our cards right, we can get out of there without a scratch, right?"

"I'd think so, yeah, luck willing," Jungkook agrees. "Okay, so we get there at dawn."

They spend the entirety of the morning talking out every single detail of the plan. Over and over they run through every point. They go through every mishap they can think of, any surprise they may encounter. There's a vigor in both of their demeanors, the way they speak, how they address each point. It was obvious to Jimin, they were thinking the same thing.

They could not make a mistake again.

Caspian has to be the worst thing that happened to them in these games, at least until the end. For Jimin's sanity, it has to. They can't have any more surprises—it was just too hard. They would be the most prepared they ever have been to get in and out of the feast as fast as possible. Jungkook would get out of there without a single scratch if Jimin could help it.

"We ignore the food if there's food, right?" Jungkook continues. "Even if it looks really tempting?"

In years past, the feasts provided for tributes were extravagant. Sometimes there was more food than they even provided during the tributes' time in The Capital. One year that came to mind to Jimin was the year when the tributes were told to give up their weapons while they ate the food. They had to choose between that extra bit of safety, and food that may have very well been the first real sustenance they had seen in days.

Many people chose the food. Jimin remembered watching them role around on the massive dining table, pummeling each other with their hands, beating each other to death—that, or strangling one another. Three people died, even though weapons were nowhere to be seen.

"No food," Jimin agrees. "Unless it basically falls into our laps, no food. We need to heal your hand. We still have food left. We can scavenge if it really gets bad."
