BRUTAL OBESSION

Chapter 2

My first day at King's enterprise has been tough but nice. Nice in the sense of the workers who  showed me so much love and the ones in my block inviting me to sit on their table during lunch hour. Making new friends always give me headache but the warm reception I received today gave me great joy.

"Hey Ariel, how are you enjoying your first day" Leaning on my office door is john who I am still discovering will have a crush on me.

"Not that bad is only this records that is giving me stress is seems the other employer did not do anything"  replied back why typing furiously on my system.

"Hmm,  do you have a ride  home?"  He asks nervously

"Nope but I will catch a cab when i am ready"

" There is no need for that I can take you when you are ready and just want to give you a head up the big boss is here but he is in office so there is a probability you might not cross path with him"

"You talk as if he is a bad guy" resting my back on my chair and staring directly at him. I can't lie and say John is not a fine guy . John is the average fine lean guy that can make ladies swoon on him especially with his signature smile.

"I can't answer that but the rumours I heard is that he is an arrogant guy that all i can give you"

"Alright, I will soon be done and then we can go. I just want to submit this files in the second floor" I adjusted my chair and got up. Smiling at john as we walk side by side to the elevator.

"See you later Ariel. Can i call you that?" I chuckled.

"Why not, friends are meant to call each other by name right?"

"Yeah. Bye"

"Bye" I smiled at him before the elevator start closing. Shocked when a black shoe stopped the elevator from closing. Looking from down to up mesmerized by the well tailored and ironed shirt and trouser on a well built body. Embarrased when the man coughed outwardly making sure to let me know he has caught me staring at him.

"Like what you see?"

"I don't understand" I shifted nervously from left to right.

"I saw you checking me out. I know kinds of women like you would have not seen a handsome man  in your life" He looked at me with his side eyes.

Men like him are not my type, Arrogant sex god like him are the types I run away from because when you befriend them they will never let you rest on how beautiful and crafted they are.

" I have seen more finer guys than you" I lied while tucking my hair behind my left ear. He laughed out loud as if what I said was the funniest thing he ever heard.

"Are you new here?

"Yes how do you know that?" I asked suspiciously because we are like two hundred people working here and I am sure he can not know every one of them.

" Forget it. I am Carlos by the way" he offered his hand for a shake.

" I am Ariel Davis and new here too" placing my palm on his, he held it for a long time and using the opportunity to  shamelessly check me out. Thanks heaven for the dinged of the elevator.

"It is a shame duties call, see you when I see you"  I already moved to the right while he moved to the left while I heard him shout "you look hot by the way" mumuring my thanks and  looking embarrassed because of the way people were looking at us weirdly.

My day was hectic thanks to John who drove me home today or else i would have been more drained than I am now. Eating my leftover pizza while arranging the mess up room I left this morning while looking for the best outfit to wear today. Wondering why my phone has not rang since I came back, quickly checking my bag for my phone and finding out is not there that means I did not take it out from my office drawer, sometimes my brain always forget things like that. That means I have to go back to get my phone because tomorrow is Saturday and  no work tomorrow.

I hate this the money I supposed to save for another time is what I am going to spend now and not only once  but twice how foolish of me. Taking out my bag and fetching out my house key I hurried out of the house to the nearest bus stop, On getting I groaned inwardly seeing a lot of people also waiting for the next bus.

After waiting for like two hours I entered my own next awaiting  bus I later stood up during the ride because I allowed an elderly old man to sit on my seat. To me that is respect and that is what my mum has in still in me and I am proud of it.

The office was so dark since the rest of the workers have left . Thank heavens for the power supply that was on or else I will have to use the staircase and that's not a good idea for me now.
   The silent atmosphere in the office is giving me goosebumps on my hands. Opening up my office door, taking my phone out of the drawer. I heard a loud bang coming from our floor balcony my mind first freezes up the only thing I was hearing was my loud heartbeats.

Muttering up the remaining courage in me I walked to the direction where I am hearing voices. Kind of suspecting it may be a criminal because is only one voice been heard.

To my uppermost surprise I met the back  of a man who is on the cliff.

  "Hello Mister, what are you doing here alone on the cliff? Do you want to get yourself killed?" I half shouted at him while walking closer. He just ignored me by still looking forward and drinking alcohol from the bottle he is holding.
" That's enough and please come down from where you are"

" I don't see how this concern you and you can't boss me around. Just get out!" He drunkenly demonstrate the out by swinging his right hand to the door. His voice also sounds familiar like I have heard it before.

" This is not right mister you can loose your step and that is the end of it."

"Do you think I care about that I am sure my family will not even care if anything happen to me too. So leave me before I call the security on you"

"That would be better so that they will help your sorry ass."

"Misterrrrr..." I shouted while grabbing his shirt he almost missed one step. I grabbing his shirt led him to fall on me on the ground and funny enough seeing the face of the man that stole my virginity  the second time and weeping on my top is not what I expected this time around.
