Whatever happened to Loki?

Death... and life again

In an alternate universe, Loki died and came back to life along with Tony, and Sylvie woke up in a universe different than her own:

Loki had just been killed by Thanos. He knew he should've used magic to defeat Thanos, but he wanted to die and felt his brother would be better off not having to put up with him. As Thanos choked the life out of Loki, he struggled a bit just because he wanted to make sure Thor knew this was a real death this time. 

<<Five years later>>

Tony had just snapped to save the universe for his kid(s). He wanted to make Thanos pay for taking his kid away from him. He snapped away Thanos and took his final breaths.

<<minutes later for both of them>>

Loki awoke in an orangish place in front of a being seemingly made of coral gemstones. He was confused, to say the least. Wasn't he dead?

Tony woke up in a strange orange place. Next to Loki? And a weird orange rock person. He knew about a lot of religions, but none had pebble gods.

"Hello Tony, weilder of the infinity stones and defeater of the once mighty Thanos. And Loki, innocent turned guilty by a father's absence of love and sacrificer of his own life for his brother's. Me and my siblings welcome both of you. Please sit." Soul said. He wanted his guests to be comfortable, especially Loki, with the arrangement he had in store for him. 

Two chairs appeared and they sat.

Soul began explaining that due to their infinity stone related sacrifices, he was giving them another chance at life. He told Tony that he was in a coma currently, and Loki would wake up as himself but as a child on midgard and that his job was to find his brother Thor before Thor fell into depression over Loki's death. Soul also explained that the reason Loki would wake up younger was because Soul simply reset Loki's life-death cycle so that Loki could live much, much longer into adulthood. And as a bonus, the Avengers would have a harder time being mad at him for what he did to New York while he was being mind controlled by Thanos. 

Tony looked over at Loki, shocked about the last part. 

Loki just bowed his head and nodded in thanks to Soul. 

Soul nodded and started to work his abilities, using the help of his brother, Time to help with Loki's transformation.

Two portals appeared behind Loki and Tony. They nodded towards each other and parted ways.

Tony woke up in a hospital bed next to an asleep Pepper and Morgan. Plus a tired-looking crying Peter. Tony decided to hear what he was saying before he revealed that he was awake.

"I'm... I'm so sorry Mr. Stark, I should've tried harder, I should have snapped instead of you, and now you're going to die and it's all my fault! *sobbing*" Peter was desperate for Tony to be ok. Every other parental figure in his life had died, and Tony was all he had left.

"I'm not planning on dying just yet, kid." Tony said as Peter realized that his mentor was awake.

Peter just hugged Tony tightly and buried his head into his father-figure's chest.

<<a week later, in Manhattan>>

Loki woke up on a bench in a park. He realized how big his clothes were on him now. He quickly used magic to transfigure his clothes into something he used to wear as a kid. It reminded him of the times Frigga would help him get dressed in the morning. He missed her a lot. Loki decided it was time to find Thor, but just as he was about to get up and look for him, someone grabbed him from behind and covered his mouth. Loki didn't want to reveal himself in public yet, so he waited until the man had shoved him in the van, where another kid his age was. "Hi, what is your name?" He asked the girl. 

"Sylvie, I'm not from around here." She replied.

They shook hands, and in unison blasted the kidnapper with magic.

Loki and Sylvie were both surprised that the other could use magic. But their reactions were cut short when the back door was ripped off its hinges by Spider-Man.

Peter opened the door and picked the 4 or 5 year olds in the back, up. "Well, you kiddos sure had an interesting night. Where's your parents?"

"My parents are dead, but do you know where Thor is by any chance?" Loki said in a thick Asgardian accent. 

Sylvie just nodded her head to what Loki said.

"Yep, I'll take you guys to him." Peter replied semi-confused how these kids knew Thor, as he began swinging to the tower, Loki and Sylvie in one arm.
