It was extermination day and Adam was killing demons left and right.
Adam has just stabbed a demon he had trappled but after he heard something behind him.
"mommy?" a tiny voice spoke up from behind him, he turned around to see a tiny child demon standing there they looked about 4-5.
Adams face turned from a sadistic smirk to a shocked expression.
"uh kid what are you doing here?" adam asks the little child steping closer.
"my mommy said she was going to store but she was gone for a long time so i went to check" the small child spoke up in her tiny voice playing with a lock of her hair.
Adam felt a sharp pain knowing damn well he had just killed a poor childs mother.
The kid looked behind him to see her mom bleeding out.
Tears start to form in the kids eyes seeing this "is my mommy dead?" she asks adam tear falling down her face.
Adam didnt know what to say especially to a kid he didnt know how they would react to yes your mom is dead so he just keeped silent.
The kid starts to sob leaving adam not knowing what to do so he just crouch down next to them and comfort them.
After a little while of the kid sobbing she calmed down and adam carefully picked them up in his arms and standing up.
Lute saw and flew down "sir what are you doing with that ch-" before lute could finish her sentence adam spoke up "lute tell the others we are done with the extermination".
Lute was dumbfounded "but sir-" lute started "NOW." adam commanded.
Lute nodded and went off to tell the exorcists that adam cancelled off the extermination.
They left as adam then flew up to go with them taking the child with him.

Adam has been taking care of the child whom he calls his own kid.
