She could remember he said it while she held onto him. Hanging just above a pit of lava, she had saved his life. She never said it back. She thought he knew.
Then it was in the game, when they won the dance competition.
She never repeated those words. He knew she loved him, right?
How she desperately wanted to hear those three words again. Coming from his mouth.
"He doesn't remember me." Nya whispered, holding back tears when she saw Jay following the merge.
"and he's working for the administration..." she heard Cole say.
They were all huddled in the Destiny's bounty, following a battle they so badly lost.
Whether they lost due to being overpowered by the administration, or because they simply couldn't fight their teammate- she wasn't sure.
Arin spoke up, "so what are we gonna do now?"
"I-I don't know..." Lloyd said reluctantly.
"We'll make him remember. One way or another." Cole said with determination in his voice.
Wildfyre nodded her head, "we're gonna get Kai back too!"
Nya smiled, they'll get them back.
She'll get Jay back
They'll make him remember. She'll make him remember.
