A Deception

Where it All Started

This short novel that I will be doing in the sidelines, a short summary of this is "What if Jim wasn't chosen as the Trollhunter?" How would the earth and situation change? Let's see and know about it! Hehe :)

Broadcaster: Good morning, Arcadia! It's Monday again! Along with a very sunny day! Along with the new Shiny Vespa that will surely shine like the sun- *Closes*

Jim's POV:

Ha... It's Monday again, Time to prepare breakfast and lunch for mom and Toby real quick. I went downstairs and cooked up breakfast and lunch for me, Mom, and my best friend Toby, I quietly went inside my moms room, where she slept in the bed after working as a doctor and getting home late.

I set her breakfast in the table beside her and took off her glasses that she probably forgot after she went to sleep and left a small note saying that I was going to school. I opened up the garage door only to see.. Messed up garbage cans.."Ah...Raccoons," I said sternly and cleaned it up before getting in my bike and closing the garage door. I then heard a familiar voice shouting my name, "Jimbo!! Morning Jimbo!" I smiled and replied with a "Morning Tobes, I got your lunch. " He immediately took it and smelt it."Balsamic mushrooms, Meatloaf, Chunky, sun-dried tomatoes and..- I finished his sentence with "And a Cardamom!" "Oooh! Taking a chance there, Chef Jim" I replied."What's life without a little adventure?" I giggled and checked the time."Holy! Tobes, we are gonna be late AGAIN! Let's go! We both sped up and pedaled as fast as we could. "Toby! Let's go to the canals! It's 5 minutes faster!" He replied while panting "Sure..Sure..Go ahead..I'm right..Ha..Behind.. You.."

I sped up and went there only to find it barricaded and labeled as construction.."Dang it! Toby switch route! Go to the trees we can make it!" It took us a while, but eventually, Me and Toby made it.. BARELY 3 minutes.. I said to Toby, "Now that's.. Adventure!" He replied,"More like..Torture..Ha...Ha.." We both went to our classes in time, which was..Stricklers class history basically..

While he was teaching, I was daydreaming and looking at Claire from a distance.. only once!..maybe..twice.. and then Toby threw a paper at me, trying to make me focus. He tried to whispering to me "Jimbo..Jimbo..You are drooling!.." Eventually, I snapped out of it after i was questioned by Strickler "Do you agree, Jim?" I replied "Sir? "Young Atlas, do you think you agree with Herodotus's opinion on his tactics of war as I've described?" i answered quickly."Absolutely!" Strickler replied "Excellent Which one? Specifically?" "uhm..The winning ones..?" Everyone laughed, and the bell rang

"All right, all right. Remember Michealson, Chapters 4 and 5!" As I was preparing my stuff ready for the next class, Strickler told me "Jim, May I have a word? As I looked to him, I dropped my bag. He helped and talked with me for a bit, telling me to share my problems with him to hopefully resolve it peacefully since I was always distracted during his studies..and.."Also, Young Atlas, I think it's better to talk than to stare at Miss Nunez, Don't you think? I laughed it off, and ran to my next class

In the gym, We had our P.E class and I motivated Tobes while he was climbing the ropes and trying to reach the bell..Well he did fail and coach had to lecture him a bit..I walked to Claire feeling confident and asked her about the play for Romeo and Juliet "Hey Claire, I heard that they were looking for people to play Romeo? For the play?" She giggled and said,"Have at it, Romeo." Looking at me with her beautiful brown eyes and smiling, she then went off to our next class.. Which is for the NEXT CHAPTER!

You might be confused about why the events are ALMOST the same as it was in Episode 1 however in the following chapters I will do, Of course we will switch it up and make the story feel a bit lively since Jim isn't the trollhunter and has no absolute knowledge about what is beneath their very feet and protecting them from their demise..Anyways thank you for reading :>
