Romeo and Juliet

After we had our final class of the day, Me and Toby walked home as usual, but a little later than we usually do since it's already dark outside. "I guess Señor Uhl did an overtime with his subjects.. Whyyy" Toby exclaimed while he was grabbing his stuff in the locker. While I was listening to Toby, my eyes roamed around again and saw Claire in her usual but beautiful attire.. "Hey Jimbo?" Toby asked me and looked in the direction I was looking at. "Ohhh.. Hey Claire! Jim wants to try and practice Romeo and Juliet in your house!" Toby shouted at Claire while I snapped out of my tired state and started shushing Toby, but.. It's too late. Claire heard it and started walking towards us. "Act cool, don't use Spanish. You always use Spanish when you get nervous around Claire!" Toby said to me while whispering.

Claire walked over to me while I was blushing and trying to hold down my intrusive thoughts in my head that could worsen the situation, "You said.. You wanted to practice Romeo and Juliet in my house?.." Claire asked while smiling."Y-Yeah.. I was wondering if it's okay with you?" While I was talking to Claire, I looked back at Toby and saw him getting ready to ride his bike, Before he left, he did a thumbs up and laughed, "I mean.. It should be okay. My parents aren't home either way, so it's just me and Enrique. "Oh, your baby brother?" I asked, "Yeah! The one you saw during the mayor conference meeting?" She exclaimed while chuckling. "It's okay if you want to come to my house to practice." She said,"S-Sure! I'm available today." I said nervously, TOBY! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!! Was what my brain was yelling the whole time while I was talking to Claire. "Wanna walk to my house together?" She asked, I noticed her pink blush while she was trying to cover up her face. So.. She is a bit nervous too, huh? I said while I focused on her beautiful face while she was walking.

While we continued to walk, Me and Claire talked about our day and had some laughs about some of the things we did this day. After a while, we reached her house. She opened it with her house key and was immediately greeted with Enrique on the couch, She went over to the couch and tickled Enrique. I smiled while I watched this childish side of her, Well.. it doesn't matter what side she shows.. She is still the same beautiful Claire.. "O-Oh, sorry for that-" Claire said while she stood up. "It's fine, I like that side of yours. Someone fun and someone cute at the same time, you know?" I told her, She started to blush and look away from me."T-Thanks for the compliment" She said to me while she walked upstairs to change. "Can you wait here for a moment? I will just change my clothes, okay?" I nodded, and sat right next to Enrique. While I was playing with Enrique, my brain started to load up the meaning of what I said earlier.. WAIT WHAT WHY DID I SAY THAT?! That was what my thoughts said to me. I stuttered it out without even thinking about it earlier! Now I know why Claire blushed so hard earlier! I put my palm in my face and leaned back, After a while, I took them off to see Claire smiling and said, "Boo!" I laughed."Not scary enough, huh?" She told me while laughing. She brought Enrique upstairs to not disturb us and came back down with the printed papers of the lines we were assigned to do. "So, are you ready?" Claire told me, "Aye Aye Captain!" I said while she chuckled at that bad joke I used. We started practicing our lines. It took a while, but we ended our session at 5:00 pm. Which is not that late, I guess? "You did the lines quite well for your first time rehearsing, Jim" She said while she was blushing a bit. "Thanks for the compliment" I told her while I blushed as well. Before I left, she told me one sentence.. that brought my confidence to 1 up to 10,000 in an instant. She told me.. "You don't have a girlfriend yet right?" She told me while she was gripping the door so hard, "Y-Yeah.. not yet, I guess " i told her while on the inside. I was screaming out of pure joy, and she replied with,"O-Oh, okay. Anyways, see ya at school tomorrow!" She told me while smiling and closed the door gently. While I walked out of her porch, my heart was gonna jump out after hearing that, and my brain started loading up insane questions.. Why did she ask that? Was that a sign? Was that what they call the first move?? questions like that. I walked back home and.. saw 2 stony like people running around with something glowy in their hands.. I ran over to a nearby bush to overhear their conversation out of curiosity. "ARGHH! We got the amulet! HAHAHA!" Was what the 6 eyed guy said to the big stony guy right beside him "Mhmm" was all I heard from the big guy. I never saw them before in Arcadia. Ever. I tried to take a closer look, but the bush I was hiding in suddenly fell apart, and it looked like they heard me.. and the big guy looked at me while the 6 eyed guy still kept laughing. I ran back to my house and locked the door. I catched my breath the moment I reached my house and looked in the window. No one is even there.. Maybe they didn't see me..? Either way.. that was.. weird. How lucky a day this is! I still dont understand the real meaning behind on why Claire asked that, but who cares! We made progress!! I said while i cooked happier than before!

The next chapter is probably next week or tomorrow if I have no classes :]
