Multiple people with armor and swords were chasing a person who didn’t know it would cause their lives on the line.
“How is that guy so fast!? Did he put all his stat points into Agility and Stamina?!”
“Beats me-” Before he could say anything, he instantly went up into flames.
“Stop! Don’t move!” With everyone stopping, one person who was at the far back did not hear him, thus stepping on a circle imbued with magic, going up in flames just like the last guy.
“Wait… it’s a trap-” Before he could say anything else, he was shot with magic.
“I-It’s Scarlet Red! Run-”
“Uh excuse me but, you all will not escape, so meet your demise!”
Unsheathing a weapon that is as long as a Claymore but curved, he sliced half of the adventurers in one swing.
“Scarlet Red and Limitless teaming up?! Everyone attack!”
It only took 1 second to be ablaze, because the person who implemented the traps, Scarlet Red, always had extra backups to eliminate them in one go.
Hey narrator can I start talking now?
… go ahead.
Thanks, now you’re probably wondering, how did I end up becoming an accomplice to Scarlet Red? Well, let’s start from the beginning.
It was the year when a popular VRMMORPG began to spread like wildfire, and I, a poor man used up all of my pocket and bank money to buy a cheap Pod to play the game and as I progress, it felt like I was a natural talent at the game even though I have not played any games until I played the game.
That’s when I stumbled upon an injured yet gorgeous woman and me being a gentleman I helped her, only to find out it was an illusion from a Skill: Illusion.
My instincts heightened, because I knew I’m being watched, until I got shot by magic. I played dead for a while, until the person who tried to kill me approached me.
“I know you’re not dead, you have a Passive Skill on your armor called Fatal Immunity, only to have 1 HP left and temporary immunity from all types of damage for 5 seconds.”
Alas, she found out, I stood up and did not expect to meet her. My heart was about to explode because on the first day of playing, she said hello to a newbie like me, and set my world to blow.
“You’re pretty talented, Limitless. The name fits you well due to your immeasurable talent. I’ve been watching you the entire time even during the tutorial. Wanna party up?”
This is where me, Limitless and Scarlet Red with our Class hidden, started our MMO playthrough.
We fought for treasure from other players, assassinating various strong players with our wits, talent, and knowledge, even to become one of the top 100.
But our journey will soon come to an end, and I can’t tell her about it, so we decided to light up the night, and we went to our dating site.
“What’s wrong, Limitless?”
… nothing Scarlet, let’s set off the fireworks.
She only looked at me for awhile, and set it all off, destroying a Kingdom
… You are a fucking Genius, Alice.
Thus, the game logged me off, and I was admitted to the hospital.
“Limitless… no Akio…”
Thus, over 10 Years of gaming Akio never told Alice about his conditions, even though they live nearby each other. Alice lit up the world to Akio, because he loved her even in real life. She lit up the night just for him and her, Akio wanted to know how she exploited their weakness, and Alice wanted to know about Akio’s talents that she saw in real life.
In the game, they were Partners in Crime, granting them the title Enemies of the World, the Genius Alice and Talented Akio.
