name day

It's now been a couple years.
alicent has a child, Aegon, and is baring another one.
Rhaenyra has kept her distance from her, but is still scared for ali whenever she'll give birth again, she doesn't want her to end up like her mother, no matter how hard she hates her.

Their in the carriage on the way to Aegons name day, his 1st birthday.
"alicent, are these trails making you feel nauseous or uncomfortable?" the midwife said from beside rhaenyra, she hated this.
"no i'm fine thank you" alicent spoke in a way in which only nyra could tell she wasn't.

"the babe should be here anytime now" viserys speaks from the other side of the carriage,
"yes, i mean Aegon came quickly and without fuss" alicent looks over at nyra.

Thoes words hit rhaenyra like a tone of bricks, 'how could she say that knowing what my mother went thorough' she though as they arrived at their destination.

Aegons name day was a big feast with hunts and people. Rhaenyra couldnt. Ever since he was born viserys had payed more attention to him then her, she missed her father, but at the same time resented him because of what happened with alicent.

She could feel alicents glares from across the room, the hunt for the boar was about to begin when viserys stepped infornt of her, "stop being so moody all the time and lighten up!" he glared, "why..? why should i when youve made me come to this stupid thing i didnt even want to go too?!" she snarls causing people to notice

"why should you.." he scoffs "because your MY daughter, the heir to the throne, or are you? when i crowned you Aegon wasnt born yet! but now he is here, when hes old enough he may upsure you. do you understand?!. The relm would not have a girl sit on the iron throne."

"wow..." she scoffs "yes i know that they wouldnt accept me but isnt it time for a change?, God! i mean you only got crowned because rhaenys is a woman! she would of led better than you. Now you want the same thing to happen to me? your own daughter not getting the throne just because shes a litle girl?!"

"thats enough!!" viserys snapped and she walked out of the room

the hunt begins

and rhaenyra wants to feel something, so she goes by herself to hunt down that boar.

hours pass and she cant stop thinking about what her father said to her, how alicent looked at her before she stormed out. the day turns to night and rhaenyra has yet to see a boar, just as she lights the fire a massive boar leaps infront of her squealing, she dosent think and just stabs that boar right in the throat, letting out all of her pent up anger

why couldnt she love me again.

why him.

my father.

i need her.

by the time she was done there was just a mangeld corpse of blood and organs laid out infront of her. 'ew' she thought as she ties it to her horse and waits for day to roll around.

day comes around

the bright light of the sun awakes her from he interrupted sleep. she climbs on her horse and looks behind her, just to see a white stag, her books read 'if you see a white stag it means your linked to the throne' she remembers as she reflects back on learning it with alicent.

"wheres rhaenyra?!" viserys says from besides her, "alicent, where is she?" alicent turns around "i dont know your grace" she says concerned.

she starts to get worried no ones seen her since her and viserys fight. Just when Aegon starts fussing in her arms she notices a horses neigh from behind the rocks, 'oh god' she says to herself as nyra turns up all bloody with a messed up boar on the back of her horse.

she just wants to drop Aegon and run to rhaenyra and tell her its okay, and that shes got her, that she still loves her.
