I just landed. I got in a taxi I preordered and we started heading towards the Blood water pack.

"What's your business?" One of the guards asks. He looked at the back where I was sitting and immediately tensed. "Nevermind. Go right ahead." He says correcting himself and his posture.

The taxi takes me all the way to the pack house. I give him the fee plus a generous tip and he leaves in a hurry. I don't blame the fellow either.

I turn around to look at the pack house again and jump when the twins are suddenly right in front of me. A second ago they weren't even there!

"Welcome Jade!" One twins says excitedly coming closer and getting ready to hug me. I immediately moved away from her. She frowned at that.

"What's wrong?" The other twin asked.

"Alphas.. please stop addressing me so informally. It's going to give the wrong impression." I state in a cold and distant tone. They both frown at that.

"Jade we're mates! Addressing you formally or you addressing us formally gives the wrong impression." The twin that tried to hug me says.

"Alpha I'm mateless. Address me as Alpha Jade or just Alpha. But if you address me informally one more time I'll leave instantly." I threaten. They tensed.

"U-understood Alpha Jade." The other twin says. I nod.

"Follow us. We'll show you where you'll be staying." The other twin states. I follow them. I stop when they start going up to the alpha's floor.

"What's wrong?" The other twin asks.

"You're going up to the alpha's floor." I state.

"Yes. And?" The hugger asks.

"Isn't this the floor for visiting packs? Why would you take me to the alpha's floor?" I ask.

"Oh. This floor is full. Our parents took in a lot of refugees that other packs sent during the war before you arrived. So the only space available is on the alpha's floor." One twin explains.

"You should have said that before I came down here. I would have booked an hotel or rescheduled." I say.

"Nonsense. We're Still trying to find a space to build homes for them and that would have taken far to long to actually settle. So this is fine. Besides why would we let you stay in a hotel? You're here to learn from us after all." The other twin says.

"Cut the crap. I know you guys got the king to do this to force me to spend time w/ you and try to make me accept you as my mates." I state. They look at me shocked.

"Since we're being blunt. You've been saying alpha. But not our names after. Is it because you didn't remember our names?" A twin asks.

"Duh." I answer immediately w/ out hesitation. They look at me shocked and hurt.

"Not even going to lie and cover it up?" The other asks.

"Nope. My pack is never going to deal w/ you or your pack. Ever. So why would I bother learning your names?" I ask.

"Because like it or not we're your mates!" A new twin exclaims.

"I've rejected you. You just haven't taken the hint." I answer calmly.

"How did you even reject us if you didn't say our names?" The other twin asks.

"I can just say I reject my mates. It works the same." I answer nonchalantly.

"Can you give us one good reason as to why you won't be w/ us?" A twin asks.

"Multiple." I say w/ out hesitation.
