THE ENGAGEMENT.
"So, she came to your house and into your room and... when you asked her why, she ran?"asked Suraj to Rishi, waiting for his answer.
But Rishi was so lost in thoughts to hear what he was saying. His index finger was between his perfect lips which was curved into a silly smile. He was thinking about the expression on his birdie's face when she was running away from him.... wide eyes, fear dancing in her face...
Suraj was so confused on seeing his friend smiling like a fool about literally nothing. He was about to go near his face and wave his hand to snap him out of his dream world when Veshtan's scream, once again, echoed through the room.
Rishi was snapped from his dreamland, his mouth twitched with irritation as I got up with a jolt making Suraj startled. Within few seconds, Rishi took long strides towards the room and opened the door with a bang. There he found Veshtan on the floor with his men surrounding him. Without thinking for a second, Rishi took out his gun and pointed it right at the Veshtan's head making everyone in the room startle including Suraj and Veshtan.
"Boss! What are you doing ?"asked Naveen, one of his men, in a hushed. Ignoring the series of alarmed looks,"If I hear you scream one more time instead of telling me the information I want, this bullet will be shot right at your empty head." Threatened Rishi.
"I really don't know anything!!! I just did what they told me to do!!!" pleaded Veshtan. Rishi exhaled sharply. Closing his eyes, he cracked the tension in his neck. After opening his eyes, Rishi pointed the gun at Veshtan's chest and pulled the trigger. The bullet went straight to his chest making him cry out in pain. "You have ten seconds to decide. If you give me the information I want, I will save you or else you can die here."

"I will say it!! I tell you everything I know!! Please save me!!" Veshtan gave in, making Rishi smirk in victory. He waved his hands at his men to take Veshtan away as he turned towards Suraj who was standing there with his mouth open. "Seriously, you are nuts bro..."said Suraj.
When Rishi came into his office and saw that the night has already begun , blood drained from his face. "What time is it?" Rishi asked Suraj. "It's past six. Why?"replied Suraj while looking at his clock. Rishi quickly grabbed his jacket and hurried outside.
"Wait! Where are you going?! asked Suraj.
"I don't have time! I am late!"
"For what?"
"For my engagement." Said Rishi with smirk as he left, Leaving a confused Suraj behind. "For your what?!"

When Rishi arrived inside the Mehta's palace, each and every head in the hall turned towards him. Rishi just started at them blankly as his mother rushed towards him. She was fuming with anger. He could feel it and he involuntarily backed away but she grabbed his hand and dragged him towards them.
"Oh my goodness, Rishi beta! You are all grown up!"said an older woman with joy.
Rishi had an awkward smile on his face as he couldn't remember who she was. Suddenly two fingers pinched Rishi's ears making him wince in pain. "Ahh dadi! What are you doing?!"Rishi cried out.
