Madelyn
Ring ring ring.
The sound of the bell rang across halls and classes for lunch break.
Finally.
This place is a fucking gossip club. The amount of pointed stares and smirks I've got since I laid a foot here is crazy.
Some are scared glances, some are admiring glances.
I didn't really care about any of them.
Only one guy's stare that got my blood running cold and almost got me screaming.
What. The. Hell?
I don't know if it has a secret meaning behind it and my brain was actually trying to deliver me a message I'm oblivious to or my subconscious brain is just doing random things and it's a coincidence or the universe is fucking with me.
Option three is always the right one.
The universe loves to fuck with me. Like setting my class schedule with zero common classes with stella, Kiara, or Jade.
Fucking universe.
I raised my head from the map in my hands and looked at the two giant doors in front of me with the word "cafeteria" engraved on them.
Daisies wasn't enormous but it was big enough like a maze.
I don't know why this place isn't known, so far everything has been fine, it's almost like Delvin except that Delvin has cocky rich teenagers everywhere.
Daisies had cocky jocks, nerds, and everything a teenager could be.
It's just a countryside version of Delvin.
I pushed through the two doors scanning the crowded room for a certain group of three girls. when I finally found them I sat next to Stella who was sitting across Kiara and jade.
A fake dramatic gasp left jade's mouth when I sat down with an annoyed expression.
"What happened to hello? How are you? How's your day going?" She shakes his head disapprovingly earning a chuckle from Stella and a disapproving look from Kiara.
"Leave the poor girl alone she looks like she choked on her cereal." Kiara said mockingly and jade gave her an amused look.
Normally, jade does the stupid sarcasm, Kiara tries to get her off our backs and Stella just watches innocently.
Now two were doing the shitty sarcasm.
"Y'all are done?" My tone came out bored.
They've always been like this.
Classic Jade and Kiara.
My eyes paused scanning the room at the grey-eyed grump.
My nightmare.
