"You cannot say, 'No Lord,' and mean both words: one annuls the other. If you say no to Him, then He is not your Lord." -Dr. James Kennedy

The things written in this book are not meant to offend any man, but rather, to offend his flesh. This is written to those who consider the Lord to be just that, the Lord...their Lord. The modern church has fallen so far away from Scripture and that is partly because we have let culture and the lust of the flesh to take over and direct our steps.

Every seat will be filled if you go to a conference on church growth or how to relate to the world. I ask you, however, to try starting a conference on the holiness of God, the cross, or even salvation and you will be shocked at how empty it will be. It is deeply discouraging.

I will do what no author ever does, reveal the end of the story before it begins. My objective, the ending is this, Christ. I only hope that if all else fails you will get one thing out of this, Christ.

For those of you who do not consider God to be your Lord, I encourage you to keep reading, especially if the idea of a God sparks your curiosity. I say this because all I seek is to present this religion truthfully, not marred by opinion, bias, or a goal. I only seek to show Christ, and I can only pray that God uses the rest.
