Football Game

Today is Friday, meaning our football game is today! I'm so excited but very nervous knowing Mari would see me dance. I'm just ready to get this over with and come home to watch movies. I put on some non scented lotion to keep me smelling fresh. Non scented products are great if you dance especially in heat and around bugs. It keeps me from the daily attacks of the viscous mosquitoes. Ugh! It's tiring.

"Go Mari!" I watch as he makes a touchdown. I clap in excitement as he waves at me. I stop immediately seeing Cassidy squint at me. I sit back while we rests. I'm tired! I wanna go home!

"So? How uhh are you?" I giggle seeing him blush. It's cute. I blush seeing him blush. He walks away making me laugh. I just realized he is bowlegged. He walks back with a straight face making me laugh. He chuckles shaking his head.

"I'm good. Wanna go out to eat tonight?" His eyes widen in shock as she looks up at him. A girl never asked him to go out before. Hell he never asked a girl to go out before. He didn't think he was good for relationships. Especially with his disorder. He smiles with a nod. She smiles wiping his sweaty cheek. He looks in confusion as she kisses him. She walks off swaying her hips as he touches his burning hot cheek. He blushes as she gets in the car. He shakes his head as the car pulls off. Was it too early to say he liked her?

"How many this evening?" The hostess bats her eyelashes looking up at him. Jennavieve scrunches her face up as the girl flirtatiously smiles at him. He puts his phone is pocket holding Jenna's hand. He wanted to have his undivided attention just on her. Tonight was about them and he wanted to savor the moment. The hostess rolls her eyes grabbing two menus.

"Just two. Thank you." She huffs leading them to a booth. Jenna walks in front of him making him bite his lips. She looks back catching him making him blush and look away. She giggles pulling him to the booth.

"Yo' waiter will be right with you. You single sir?" He takes his eyes off a shy smile looking at the hostess. He looks at her through his glasses with a straight face. He was tired of her already.

"You don't see me here with someone. My girl?" She blushes covering her face at his remark. She knew they weren't dating or anything. Yet. But she didn't mind a little title then and there. The girl huffs walking off with an attitude. He chuckles seeing her smile looking at him.

"So Miss. Jennavieve? Tell me about yourself. I mean you must think I'm a cute boy for you to ask me out?" She giggles as he looks at her and shakes his hair like a girl. He laughs putting up his hair making her smile. She wanted to see his face. He was so cute. He honestly never thought anyone liked him like that. That was a lie. He just looked like he didn't want to be bothered so they didn't ask. He just needed a slight push. And Jennavieve gave him that.

"Well as you know I'm 17 years old. I like to dance. I'm a slight nerd. I think you're hot. And I'm learning to find me, you know? Find who I am. Sometimes you just gotta ask yourself that. Who am I? I'm still learning and I hope it gets better for me soon." He nods listening to every word that falls out of her lips. He stares making her smile. She takes her pointer finger and raising his head to her eyes. They make eye contact making him slowly glide his tongue across his plump lips. She blushes shaking her head as he pulls away from her hold. She didn't know what she was doing to him.

"I agree. Sometimes I gotta ask myself who am I? Especially with my disorder it's hard to find out who I am." She nods as he looks at her. She thought he looked adorable with his glasses.

"Well tell me who you are Omari."

They laugh and talk amongst themselves as the waiter brings their food. She smiles in excitement as he thanks the waiter. He grabs her small hands making her look in confusion. He opens them gently pouring hand sanitizer in. He was a clean freak. He liked everything a certain order and a certain way. His mom didn't have to even have to ask him to do his chores. He did it because he wanted to. His little brother would pay him in candy he wasn't supposed to be eating due to his braces just for him to do his chores. He drew the line at homework though.
