when you were a baby, you didn't have the best life. your parents both didn't have long to live, so they tried to find a safe place, but you thought they had abandoned you, because everyone said so, not knowing why they would do such a thing. they eventually found a perfect place to leave you, and left before they were seen. eventually, their time had come, and soon enough...
they were gone. [in both senses]
you cried, and you were found by a woman with long brown hair. taking sympathy, and because she wanted a child, she took you in as if you were her own.
life at home was sweet and loving with your foster mother, but otherwise? it was shit.
you didn't really have friends, because you were silent a lot of the time. everyone thought you were creepy. a good amount of popular kids liked to pick on you, seeing you as the only favorable target.
you had to suck it up. at least your 'mom' was there. oh well....
one day, you walked home from school, when you could have sworn you saw some golden piss on the floor. you looked deep, and it was less piss more.... acid. you used a twig to check if it was safe, like you always did. the tip of the twig melted from the contact.
then, you saw someone's corpse fly out. you quickly noticed prying yellow eyes.
you ran as fast as you could.
one of them, as you were out of sight, spoke ''what's the rush?''
''look N. we can't just let him get away.... oh whatever, let him slide. we've got the hitlist done for today'' said another.
''okay alright. let's head. i'm kinda tired, i spent five hours last night watching anime and i barley got sleep.''
they flew ahead, with one of them shoving in the one who watched anime with a ''seriously? no sleep? what the hell is your problem?''
you came out of hiding. you had heard of the disassembly people. they were people who have tails that have an acid on the tip, and they were given a hitlist to kill whoever was targeted.
you then sighed calmly, knowing you were safe, and arrived home. you had a very long walk home tomorrow afternoon, because you had to go somewhere big after school.
''hey mom, i'm back'' you said.
''you alright? did they hurt you?'' your 'mother' said, concerned off a bruise you got. the main person who bullied you, Jud, punched you pretty damn hard from right behind. he always bullied you because he saw you as a threat to popularity, knowing you were adopted, and thinking you'd gain sympathy points. so he either beat you up or teased you. luckily, he's kinda dumb, so you used that chance to hide when you had the chance.
''it was Jud. he hit me. never saw it coming'' you said.
''what a putrid excuse for a boy'' she said. ''let me put ice on it.''
it was on the side of your head, nowhere near your eyes or cheek, thankfully. he did the same on your 17th birthday this year, except it wasn't as painful because it was on the leg, and it was a little slower, even though that was still shit.
you held the ice... you swore that one day Jud wouldn't be such a pain. you hoped he would die in a fire or something. the ice did at least somewhat cool you off, because you were feeling the injury was getting numb.
''i can't go back to school with that jackass still around! no one does anything about it!'' you moaned and fumed.
''sweetie, your gonna be alright. you'll make friends one day, i'm sure'' your 'mother' comforted you. ''you might even find a girl''
''MOM!'' you were embarrassed at her mere mention of girls. she giggled a little.
MEANWHILE
''sevengate high school? really N? the one time you don't act useless, you come up with this?''
''come on, i always wanted to go to a high school!''
''fine. we'll go there. but only so you won't pester me about it. and on one condition:
don't make a fool out of yourself. or else''
''okay..... [shees, she's serious]''
