Those closest to Will had watched his casket being lowered, yet they had not shed a tear. Bailey was standing in front of his parents, far enough away to see everyone's faces.

He noticed the lads chuckling among themselves, despite the fact that there was evidence to suggest that Will could still be alive he didn't think it was appropriate to be laughing. However, he was unable to experience the proper emotion towards the coffin.

Bailey saw his parents make their way to Will Byer's parents as the funeral was drawing to an end. He used the opportunity to approach Nancy and Jonathan, who were having a conversation.

"Come on." Jonathan murmured to them, Bailey trailing behind Nancy. Bailey wasn't entirely at ease as they crouched down behind a grave, but it will do for the time being.

Jonathan set out a map, which Bailey studied as he noted every notable house that was involved. He was aware that they would have to enter the woods at some point.

"It's all so close." Nancy mumbled, looking over the map.

"I mean, it's all within a mile or something. Whatever this thing is, it's... it's not traveling far." Bailey felt like a third wheel when he saw how they were staring at each other.

"You want to go out there." Nancy asked as Jonathan only nodded in response.

"You want to go after the thing that took your brother, that could take us or even kill us," Bailey said, tightening his grip on the fence.

"We might not find anything." Jonathan replied.

"I found something and if we do see it...then what?" Nancy questioned.

They both stared at Jonathan, who shrugged slightly but did not shift his gaze away from him. "We kill it."

Bailey entered the woods and noticed Jonathan standing there with the gun in his hand

Bailey entered the woods and noticed Jonathan standing there with the gun in his hand. Nancy hadn't arrived yet, so he merely watched Jonathan try to aim at the cans.

"I believe that the cans are the intended target of it all." He claims that when he approached Jonathan, the boy turned around and gave him a small shrug.

"Bailey...This isn't your fight. Are you sure you want to help?" Jonathan asked, pulling down his revolver.

"This may not be my battle or issue, but I would also like to know what happened to Barb. If she is still alive, Nancy should also have the opportunity to learn what happened to her, and you should be able to find your brother." As he began tugging at something on his jacket, he said.

Jonathan nodded, turned around, and kept his attention on the cans. It was then that Bailey noticed the knife resting against a tree. He approached, picked it up, and gave it a cursory inspection.

"You're supposed to hit the cans, right?" As she approached, Nancy yelled out. The sound of her voice caused both Jonathan and Bailey to turn their heads, he dropped the knife and walked back over to face them.

"No, actually, you see the spaces in between the cans? I'm aiming for those."Jonathan retaliated quickly. As Nancy placed her bag and bat down next to Bailey's belongings, he smiled slightly at her.

"You ever shot a gun before?" He asked her.

"Have you met my parents?" Nancy extended her hand to grasp the rifle in either case. Perhaps it was best to give it a shot at least. There was always the chance that her aim was just a little bit better than his. After a moment of hesitation,

Jonathan handed it to her and instructed her to simply point and shoot. They appeared to be quite evident and were straightforward directions. Nancy squinted one eye to get a good look at the cans as she held the rifle in front of her.

Bailey seen the bullet strike the can just as Nancy squeezed the trigger. "Well, it appears that Nancy has assumed official leadership." Jonathan said. Nancy felt a surge of confidence wash over her and she stared at her.

Bailey approached, picked up the age-old knife, and turned to face them while grinning a little. As he approached the two once more, his own self-assurance began to grow. With all three of them prepared to face whatever was under the forest.

- Bailey's choice of weapon - a mysterious knife that lays in the woods. I support all of his decisions but yea that one's a bit weird. But just like Chrissy. Nancy and Jonathan are slowly building Bailey's confidence a little but it won't be like that for long.
