@princessgeorge: good looking idiots

@alobono: you're not wrong there

The drivers have arrived in Singapore and at the track. The excitement of the race was in the air and everyone can feel it; except for George. He was a bit worried because he knew that his best friend was joining the team starting today.

No one knew except from the team and Mick, he tried his best not to show Alex he was agitated but of course, the Thai driver knew his friend since they were kids.

"Alright what's up?" Alex asked as they scanned their passes and was now inside the paddock. George chuckled and shook his head, "Nothing." He said.

Alex raised an eyebrow at him, "Really now?" he challenged his friend. George shrugged, "Nothing that should worry you now." He said. This made the former frowned and stopped walking, "So it will affect me in some way?" he asked worriedly.

George sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Do you trust me?" he asked. Alex looked at him weirdly, "Uh- sure..." he said. The Brit was about to say something when Mick's voice was heard from the other side of the paddock.

"George!" Mick called out. The two turned to him, he finally reached them and smiled, "Sorry, but I need George." He said. The Brit laughed and shook his head, "I knew you'd miss me Mick." He joked.

Mick scrunched his face and shook his head, "Don't make it weird. I just wanted to let you know that the team is gathering to meet the new arrivals." He informed him knowingly. George's eyes widened and to Alex it seems as though the two Mercedes drivers were having a silent conversation.

He hummed and shifted, "Okay, I think I'll go..." he said with a chuckle. George turned to him and smiled, "I'll see you later mate." He said. Alex nodded and waved to them before walking away.

Once he was out of earshot, George turned to Mick and sighed, "Thanks for saving me there." He mumbled as the two walked to the Mercedes motorhome. The German huffed, "I just don't understand why you just don't tell him that she's here." He argued.

George sighed, "Because Eliza doesn't want to. She stubbornly believes that they will not cross paths at all..." he trailed. Mick stopped and tilted his head, "Yeah...Not gonna happen. This is F1, every belief can either be crushed or will happen."

@mickymouse: she stole my fries!

@princessgeorge: yeah, forgot to tell you she likes them

George and Mick walked to where the rest of the team were. They were welcoming a few new members and Eliza was one of them. The Brit was pretty excited to have her there, it meant he would get to keep an eye on her more and it was time for her to finally get to know what F1 was really about.

Him and Carmen had tried multiple times for her to know what F1 was. It wasn't just about cars going around in circles, it was much more than that. They knew of her fear, of the sport and that stopped her from giving a chance to be able to see what it really was.

Now that she was here, the couple had planned on showing her the world of F1, and that will start today. The drivers finally reached where the team was huddled. When they reached the group, there George saw his best friend. Eliza was listening to what Toto and Susie were talking about. She was smiling. Something George took note, at least she was anxious about getting to the paddock.

His and Mick's presence was noticed by the team principal. Toto grinned and motioned for both Eliza and Susie to turn to them, "There they are. Our drivers." He said.

At the sight of George, Eliza let out a clear breath of relief, her smile grew making George smile back. "Eliza, this is Mick." Susie said, introducing the blue-eyed blonde that smiled warmly at her.

"Nice to meet you." She said as she shook hands with Mick. "You as well, I heard a lot about you from this tall giant." He joked as he motioned to his teammate. George scoffed and pushed him slightly, "Shut up." He said as he finally walked closer to his best friend.

Being pulled into a hug, Eliza chuckled and patted his back before pulling away and turning back to Mick, "Hopefully he didn't ruin my image with the team." She said. Mick laughed and shook his head, "Nah. He's very sweet about it really." He reassured her.

Eliza took this opportunity to look up at her best friend and smirked, "Aw, you do love me." She teased. George rolled his eyes and pushed her face lightly, "Can we ship her back?" he asked his team principal jokingly.

Toto chuckled, "Let me remind you, you were the one adamant to have her here. She would have done her work brilliantly even if she was at her home." He explained. George hummed and shrugged, "I guess I can live with the fact that she's here with- OW!" he was cut off when Eliza pinched his side.

"Behave." She scolded him. Susie and Mick couldn't help but laugh, "Finally someone that can make George shut up." Mick teased and shared a laugh with Eliza. The taller Brit's eye twitched, it was like he saw how his life would be like now that Mick gotten along with Eliza and Eliza was not being her shy self but rather being open to tease him with Mick.

"I don't like this." He grumbled. Eliza smirked at her best friend and stood on her tippy toes to pat his head, "There there Georgie, you wanted this."

As Eliza was getting comfortable with the team, Alex who was left with his memories was more nervous about this grandprix than any other grandprix he had before.
