Firstly, this is obviously a fan-fiction. I only own my original characters and plotlines.
First-and-a-half-ly, Coffee and Candy is a spin-off of my Spencer Reid fic Proxy. Cait and Hotch were happening in the background, but they're just so dang cute that I wanted to write their own little story. I doubt this will be anywhere near as girthy as Proxy was since Cait and Hotch's relationship is a lot smoother than Kory and Spence, but it'll definitely be fluffier (and potentially smuttier).
Secondly, please read the warnings listed below. For something beyond a typical Criminal Minds experience, I will list the triggers at the start of the necessary chapter. Otherwise, just be prepared for typical murder and mayhem as to be expected from our babies. (Although, overall the heaviness of this fic will be nowhere near as bad as Proxy since Cait's backstory isn't as heavy as Kory's).

- alcoholism (history and relapse)
- history of abuse (physical and emotional for both Hotch and Cait)
- child endangerment (just from Jack existing in this show)

I'll put a warning at the start of a chapter if there's a particularly heavy spot, and I'll also mark spice chapters with a 🌶 in the chapter title so you know what's coming! (Or who's coming 👀).
