What is like being a high-schooler? For most of the people school life is about beautiful memories with friends, lots of short trips around the country, proms, inter-school sports matches ,school festivals and lot more. But as a girl who only is cozy with my inner circle I don't have lots of memories with the school I study. Growing up I had two older brothers and two younger brothers. Sustaining in a competitive household was very tough during my elementary school days, but I started to force myself to prove myself which also ends up in vain as my achievement has already been accomplished by one of my brothers.
"Wake up Riri !! " shouted Andrew. It was my first day of Grade 12. I had my breakfast and waited for my school bus along with Geo and Jacob as they study Grade 10 and 9 respectively. As the bus arrived i found Shreya sitting in a two seater , i sat beside her and we started to talk about our summer holidays.
As we reached school, i found my other best friend Dahlia waving to us. We walked near to the bullet-in to check our class schedules. As we went to our class for our first class which was math my favorite subject i was so into it that i forgot what is happening around me.
There was a new guy in our class who just came from another prestigeous school in Sydney. When the teacher called him to give his self-introduction i didn't pay much attention but when he said he was the top student in his school i felt something different in the air.
Am i getting a rival This was the only thing going through my mind.
When the next class physics was going, the teacher asked for the formula of gravitational acceleration, before i even started to raise my hand, the new guy responded with "GM by R square".
At that moment i knew that i am having a rival, An Academic Rival
