(Part 1)

An unknown feeling

The cold and everlasting winter air hit Uzi's visor as she stepped out of the bunker door. After taking a few glances around to take in her surroundings again, she wasted no time in making her way to the landing pod where the two disassembly drones resided.

- Uzi had been grounded a few weeks ago, not being able to leave the bunker. In fact, she couldn't even sneak out since her dad stayed out home to make sure she stayed inside and only went out for school. Why was she grounded? Well, Khan simply wanted to punish her for spending so much of her time with N and V instead of focusing on "important matters"... like doors!

Anyways, now that her punishment was finally over, she could go see N again. -

As the short purple worker drone continued to move forward, she heard footsteps catching up to her. Turning around cautiously, a wave of relief washed upon her when she saw that it was just Thad.

Thad: hey Zi! Going to visit N and V again? *He asked, walking along beside the goth girl.*

Uzi: Mhm... and why'd you follow me all the way out if the bunker? You wanna come with me or something?

Thad: Pft, duh. Couldn't let one of my best buds go out without annoying her a long the way! *He teased, playfully tapping on her beanie and smiled, watching as she giggled and hit him back in with amusement.*

N's POV:

Spreading my metal wings, they glistened under the Moon's reflective light. I wanted to get my mind off things by going hunting for oil since Uzi hadnt come to visit us in... 1...2...3 weeks! I wanted to give her space, but I was surprisingly getting impatient.

V says that it's stupid that I was already getting attached to a worker drone that I only met 4-5 months ago, but I ignored her words. I didn't wanna be mad at V since I still cared about her, so going off to hunt was the best option I had.

As I swiftly dashed through the cold air of this so deathly freezing planet, which would have killed me if us disassembly drones didn't have extra high quality heating features, I spotted some worker drones walking on the soft white snow. 'Perfect,' is what I thought to myself before I landed behind a pile of dead drones and took a good look at who these people actually were.

My face lit up as my visor detected... Uzi! My tail involunteerily wagged behind me as I was ready to jump out and surprise her.

... until I saw that the person with her was.. Thad. I felt like I should've been excited to see both of them, but Thad and Uzi were teasing each other?

My mind fogged up with murderous thoughts before I quickly realized what I was thinking about and shook those thoughts away, telling myself that it's just some dumb feeling that I don't even know. I haven't felt something like this before, Ever.

Author's POV:

The disassembly drone continued to watch the two worker drones walk through the snowy ice covered planet, silently stalking them. He could've just gone out and say hello, but he didn't want to. He felt like he needed to watch without his presence being known. As the wind blew through his silver hair, his golden eyes glared brightly at the sight before him.

Thad, noticing the shape of the pod slowly emerging from the white winter snowy void, quickly grabbed Uzi by the hand and dragged her towards it. Uzi rolled her eyes before smiling and deciding to go along with it.
