My heart stopped for a moment. Barely could breath because it was unbelievable to accept. Getting dark all around. Stepping back as I look forward I see my favorite childhood doll turning into a six-foot-tall man.

This evening, due to a paucity of patients at the hospital, I found myself departing much earlier than usual. I halted my car in what could be described as a secluded area, the road flanked by towering trees shrouded in mist. Despite the presence of streetlights, I proceeded slowly towards a church ahead.
The church, now nearly abandoned, was a place my father and I used to visit when I had the time, as he had told me that during my childhood, he and my mother would come here to pray. There's also an orphanage associated with it, a place I'm quite familiar with since I often distribute donations here. There are many sisters here who know me well.
Although I usually visit during the afternoon, I had to come in the evening due to some urgent matters. The gatekeeper recognized me, so he opened the door for me, and I stepped into the long hallway. I went straight inside where I saw my sister, the head of this church. When she noticed me entering, she smiled faintly.
"Younie, how are you?" she embraced me warmly.
"I'm well, Sister," I replied.
"It's good to see you looking well after your father's passing a month ago," she said, running her hand along my arm.
"But what urgent matter has brought you here at this unusual hour?" Her voice held a note of concern, causing me to bow my head.
"Younie?"
"Actually, Sister, I've sinned. I've come to seek penance, hoping the Lord will forgive me."
"You needn't speak so; the Lord is exceedingly generous. Pray with a clear heart, and He will surely forgive you," she reassured me, lifting my chin as I gave a faint smile.
"Alright, pray with all your heart. I won't disturb you. But do meet with me before you leave." I nodded at Sister's words, and she left me alone. I looked towards the cross in front of me.
"My lord," I closed my eyes again and joined my hands in prayer.
I knew i had committed a terrible sin. Just because of him who is the killer And a cursed demon. I had taken a life - 2 life, that life that didn't deserve to end so violently. The guilt and shame of my actions haunted my day and night, leaving me sleepless and tormented.
My eyes filled with tears as i knelt before the altar, my body trembling as I whispered a fervent prayer, confessing my dark deed to a silent God. I didn't know what to expect or how to make things right, but i hoped that the sacred space and me heartfelt plea would wash away my guilt and provide me some measure of solace.
