Confusion

Eden hadn't been able to stop thinking about Sirius. She knew that he was now a free man. And he was thrilled about that. And Eden couldn't get him off her mind.

She knew how she and Remus were together. But she wasn't in love with him like she wanted to be. And she knew he was in love with someone else.

To Eden, it felt as if they were both using each other to fill the gap of being in love with someone else. And while she didn't mind that, she didn't want to hurt Remus by telling him how she felt.

They were friends. And Eden didn't want to ruin that. Despite the fact she had feelings for someone else.

She hadn't spent much time with Sirius since he had been cleared. And it was odd. She found it odd to think that she could go and talk to him. But she didn't know how to go over there and sit with him given all that had happened.

All that Eden knew was that things weren't the same. And something needed to be done. Before it all got too much for her. She just needed things to be simple. But it wasn't.

Morning came and she was sitting in her chambers. She looked up as Noelle walked in. She smiled. "And what's got you looking miserable?" She asked.

Eden shook her head. "Life is complicated and it's messy. I don't like it," she told her.

"Why? What happened?"

Eden sighed and smiled. "Nothing. Just thinking about crazy it's been lately," she said. She saw the look on her face. "Oh god Noelle. What did you do?"

Noelle sighed. "Don't judge. But I had sex. With Severus," she said.

Eden blinked. She frowned as she looked to her. "Why? Why would you do that?" She asked.

"I was horny. And it just happened. I blame the fire whiskey. It's not going to happen again," Noelle told her.

Eden shook her head. "You're an idiot. An actual idiot. Your brother is going to kill you," she said.

"He won't find out."

Eden was walking through the school. She sighed as she saw Remus. He had been given his job back. Much to the dismay of Severus. She walked over to him and smiled. "Hey. How does it feel to be back?" She asked.

Remus nodded. He smiled. "It's good. I wasn't expecting anyone to even want me here. But they do," he told her.

"It's because you're a good man Remus. You've done nothing wrong. Severus Snape is just ugh. Don't let him get to you. He's bitter because you're still here. Don't think about it," Eden said as she kissed his lips.

She was hoping to feel a spark. But she didn't. She pulled away and smiled. "Let's do something this weekend. Just us," she said.

"Okay love. I have to go. Essays to grade," Remus told her as he walked off.

Eden was sitting in her chambers. She sighed as she read the letter from Sirius. Saying how much he missed her. Eden didn't know what to think.

Eden had no idea how everything was about to get flipped upside down. And she wasn't going to be able to handle it all.
