Sumire's POV:
"Wait what??!" I felt the heat rise in my face as I stared back at Suguru. He was really attractive and the thought of spending the night with him was tempting, but we just met! Aren't there rules and -

"I'm sorry, that came out wrong. I meant like it's late and I'm sure you're tired. I have a guest room and if you need to stay over you're welcome to utilize it." He explained.

Oh.....

"That makes sense!" I nervously laughed and looked away. " We'll see how long it takes my phone to charge. Im sure it's fine because it's like what 8:30??"

"It's 10:15."
"What?!"
He laughed and stood off the couch and walked towards the fridge. " Yeah we were talking a lot during dinner, I'm surprised they didn't kick us out."
His phone rang as he approached the fridge and he quickly reached for it. " One moment, I'll be right back." I watched as he exited the room and into his bedroom shutting the door"Hey Satoru, how was your mission,"  I heard his voice trail off and another door shutting as well.
Satoru the way he said that name... it was with such admiration. I rubbed my forehead and sighed.

I tapped my phone and the screen shone brightly. I quickly unlocked it and smiled seeing a text from my best friend Gwen.

iMessage:
Gwen: "How was your day?! Just to let you know I found a turtle today and I'm keeping him. His name is Sheldon."

I laughed as I read that . Gwen was one of those girls that actually had a personality, you know the ones that could joke with you or say strange stuff but it never concerned you? I honestly missed her. I know the distance is hard on her only because she try's to convince me to move back everyday, plus I'm her only friend.

Sumire : "Heyyy! It was good I met a guy named Suguru! I'm at his place rn. He's letting me charge my phone."

I watched as Gwen's text bubble kept appearing then disappearing. One thing about her is she's a fast typer.

Gwen : "Did you let him hit on the first date?  I thought you would be more careful for your first time😱😱😱 "
"How was it?!"
"Did it hurt ?! I need details?!"

Fuck I forgot she's dirty minded .

Sumire: "No!!"
"We didn't sleep together. We ran into each other on the street and I'm charging my phone here because I'm
A dumbass who thought it was okay to not bring a charger ☹️."

Gwen:"oh ... 😞"
"Is he cute?"

I felt myself smile a little bit , yeah he is. I wanted to say but instead I just left her on seen. I opened up my notes app and found the name of my hotel. It was called the Shiomi. I quickly copied the name and looked up how far it was from here.
"A 30 minute walk." I whispered.
I don't know if I could make Suguru walk me 30 minutes and make him walk back home. I feel like that's a bit unfair. I tapped my screen and clicked the weather app. "95% chance of rain in 20 minutes." My phone was only at 25% if it's a 30 minute walk it might last those 30 minutes but I'm not sure if I would like to risk that.
I sighed and pushed myself off the couch and walked around Suguru's living room. I found myself noticing a picture of him surrounded by a white haired man and a browned haired girl with a cigarette in between her lips. I walked over and stared at the photo.
Who are they? I wondered.
There was another photo of him with a blonde haired emo looking guy and a brown haired guy. Suguru looked so happy in these photos. I wondered which one of his friends died.
