A few mins earlier

"I need to leave please excuse me" Tami says leaving Imisi standing alone, shocked  and confused. she musters up a confident smile and turns to look directly at  Alexis, still smiling she says "Alexia Rentorano Gold, stay away from my sister. Thank you very much" she walks past her and goes after Tami.

Tami stops as she sees a black Benz sitting prettily in the car park she turns abruptly and sees Imisi standing silently behind her. Flaring up she starts to shout but is cut short by Imisi when she says "do you want a ride???" Shocked, Tami asked " even after how I treated you, you are still offering me a ride?" Smiling she answers "I can't stay angry too long at my sister, get in or we'll miss the show" Tami stops "what show?" Imisi replies "just get in", Tami finally complies and gets in as they drive off.

TAMI'S P.O.V

We get to my house and Imisi gets out of the car gesturing for me to follow suit. As I get down Dominique, the gate keeper walks up to me in a rush and speaks "good day ma'am there is a lady who came to see your mother and their voices have been raised ever since" "ok thank you" I reply not giving him a chance to gossip.

Imisi follows me inside and stops me as I'm about to announce my presence to my mother but drags me behind the nearest pillar where we could see and hear them but they couldn't see and hear us. I motion for Imisi to be quiet even though she wasn't making any form of noise, she rolls her eyes and nods while we listen. Mom began "I .... We ..... so ..... um, what happened exactly was that Tami went to school with Alexis and never came back, we reported the case to the police and they were doing close to nothing about it. One day we left the station and Taylor walked up to us and showed us a picture of Tami, the one we had pasted on notice boards, and said he had serious contacts, that he could help us find her and he did after a week and since then he's become like family, he and Tami are extremely close, he couldn't do anything to harm her, he loves her like his own blood" I almost laugh but as if knowing what I want to do Imisi covers my mouth with her hand and signals for me to be quiet causing me to remember how much I loved Mr. Taylor and how much it hurt to find out I was practically the lamb he was preparing or the slaughter when I hear the other lady who was weirdly familiar speak "no he wouldn't, there's a price on her head, not as expensive as her sister's but expensive, how come the only person that could find her was Taylor, when he wasn't the only one looking?, how do you know he wasn't the one that kidnapped her?, do you think it was fate that brought Taylor to you at that time?. You know there are things you need to think about before putting my grand-child in danger, distance Tami from Taylor, ground her if that's what you have to do just get it done, please she is  in enough danger as she is now don't place her in a situation that could kill her please" startled by the compassion and care I hear I the woman's voice I turn to Imisi to ask who she was and simultaneously he turned and mouthed "she's your grandmother" I look at her retreating figure and wonder if my mom is really my mom and hurt fills my heart at all the lies I've been told since I was old enough to understand what words were. Still in my pained state 'mom' speaks up "wow, thats just like you, how could I be suprised, selfish, prideful and vain, what's a title that you can give me if I'll never sleep at night, if you're so wise then why's your life spent all alone? Big sis"  angry at the hurtful things she just said I wanted to prove mom wrong, then I heard 'big sis' and I paused so my mom was my grand aunt?????.... I was lost the my grandma stopped and warned her to watch her words then mom said
"that's why your daughter is dead isn't it?, look around, see where you're standing, this is a family home what do you have?, reports and journals all instructing how to kill or the rules of being mafia, not a single child in your home except for that poor dazzling child , Gabriel, right? I wonder if you've turned that one into a killing machine" shock and disappointment filled me at the inconsiderate words my mother/grand aunt said to grandma and I all of a sudden felt a rush of anger pour through my veins but then as if to justify my anger grandma, in a grand gesture waved her hands and "this day you've severed your own head, this day  you've crossed the line, one day you might understand but not today for after all you're just a man" everything started to disappear including the pillar we hid behind while mother knelt down crying, I felt sorry for her but then she deserved it grandma all of a sudden says "I gave you everything and all you did since we were kids was look down on me. I never told you that it was all me because well I wanted to give you a sense of importance  but you were right what's a title that I can give if you never sleep at night"  she turns and our eyes meet, she smiles and I shy away, she turns back to mom and says "I'm taking Tami with me, I can protect my own grand daughter better I don't know why I gave her to you in the first place" turning to me she said "come with me little one, follow me" gladly but shyly I followed her saying "yes grandma" I turned to Imisi and beckoned for her to follow me, she smiled and followed. As I walked away with them and away from everything I had known I momentarily forgot the trouble that had and will always loom at my door ......... TAYLOR GOLD!!!!!
