(Energy releases from the VHS tape, transporting the gang into Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning.]
Felix the Cat: We're in the game!
Lucky: So, what's the point of this game again?
Wallace: Remember, we have to locate seven notebooks scattered around a school without being caught by Baldi.
Cadpig: Okay.
(They see the school up ahead.)
Bobby Bearhug: This must be Baldi's school.
Pumbaa: So that means Baldi must be in here.
(Once they enter the school, Baldi greets them)
Baldi: Oh, hi. Wasn't expecting like you guys. Welcome you all to my schoolhouse. (Looks at Felix the Cat) Oh, and hello to you too, Felix. Haven't seen you in a while.
Felix the Cat: Yeah. Nice to see you too, Baldi.
(They try to go explore the school, but they couldn't go the doors.)
CatNap: Wait, what? Why can't we go through the doors?
Baldi: You need to collect two notebooks before you can use these doors.
Cadpig: Oh, okay. Thanks for letting us know.
(The gang goes into one of the classrooms and they see a pink notebook on the table.)
Patch: Oh, there's a notebook.
(Wallace sees a You Can Think Pad beside the notebook.)
Wallace: Hmm. You Can Think Pad. (Picks it up)
(Upon the gang's discovery of the first notebook, he quizzes them with simple math problems, offering a chance of getting "something special" if they answer all of them correctly.)
Baldi: Now it's time for everyone's favorite subject. Math! Answer the three questions correctly and you might get something special! Just type the correct answer into the empty box. Press the okay button on your pad when you think you have the right answer! Problem one, nine times three equals?
(Wallace puts in twenty-seven and it was correct)
Baldi: Good one. Problem two, six minutes three equals?
(Wallace puts in three and it was correct.)
Baldi: Great job! That's right! Problem three, four plus five equals?
(Wallace puts in nine and it was correct.)
Baldi: Good one!
(The words say "WOW! YOU EXIST!" in the center of the pad.)
Patch: So, we did it.
Cadpig: We completed our first notebook of the day.
(Wallace grabs the notebook)
Baldi: You guys did great. Come here and get your prize. A shiny quarter!
(The gang comes out and sees a Shiny Quarter beside Baldi. Wallace grabs it)
Wallace: Thanks, Baldi.
Baldi: You're welcome. When you find something you can use it on, use the quarter! That's how you use items you know.
Wile E. Coyote: Thanks, Baldi. We're going to continue on.
(They enter another classroom and sees a blue notebook and another think pad.)
Sally: Here's another think pad.(Wallace grabs the think pad.)
Baldi: Problem one, five times seven equals?
(Wallace puts in thirty-five and it was correct)
Baldi: Uh-Huh, you got it! Problem two, two plus ten equals?(Wallace puts in twelve and it was correct)
Baldi: I can't believe it! You're incredible!
(They see the third problem in a complete nonsense with smashed up numbers. As they answered the two questions, they across the one question that is impossible to answer.)
Sally: What is this?
Lucky: We can't solve that!
Bubba Bubbaphant: Not even me.
Baldi: Problem three! (Beeps!) Plus! (Beeps) Times! (Beeps) Equals?
Patch: i don't even know what that answer is.
Timon: Try two, Wallace.
(Wallace puts two in. They get the question wrong and Baldi gets angry.)
Wallace: What's wrong with him?
Spot: Why's he angry? We couldn't even answer that!
(Suddenly, they hear a smacking noise.)
Simba: Uh, what's that?
Bolt: I have no idea. We better check it out.
(They came out of the classroom and sees that Baldi and the exit they came in were gone.)
Cadpig: Huh? Where's Baldi?
Lucky: And where's the exit?
Wallace: They're both gone.
Mittens: Where even is Baldi?
(They turned and see Baldi through the yellow door windows down a hallway.)
Patch: There he is.
Pepe Le Pew: Wait. What is he holding?
(They see that Baldi is starting to chase them with his ruler and the gang knew that they have to escape.)
Felix the Cat: Oh! He's got a ruler!
Wallace: He's coming to spank us!
DogDay: Or better yet probably will kill us with it!
Lucky: We need to run!
(The gang runs as Baldi starts to chase them down with his ruler.)
